7-Day Egypt Itinerary: Cairo, Luxor, & Hurghada

1st day: Arrival in Cairo

Arrival at Cairo Airport: Meet with an Egypt Fun Tours representative who will assist you with customs and formalities. Transfer to your hotel in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle. Overnight: Stay in Cairo.

2nd day: Pyramids, Sphinx, Egyptian Museum & Bazaars

Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out. Start your exploration with a visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza, including:

The Great Pyramid of Cheops (the largest and the only surviving wonder of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World).

The Pyramid of Chephren (the best preserved).
The Pyramid of Mycarinus.
Nearby, see the Great Sphinx, a majestic statue with a lion’s body stretching 57 meters and paws 15 meters long.

4th day: Full-Day Tour to Luxor

Morning: Depart Hurghada around 7:00 AM and travel through the Western Sahara Desert to Luxor, with a rest stop along the way. Arrival in Luxor: Visit the Colossi of Memnon statues and learn about their history. Proceed to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, where you will have time to explore.

Afternoon: Head to the Valley of the Kings and visit several tombs with guided commentary and free viewing time. Visit an Alabaster Factory and enjoy a Nile River experience on a motorized felucca boat.
