Day 1: Bahariya and the Safari to the White Desert:
Morning Departure and Desert Exploration. In the morning, at about 7:00 a.m., our representative will pick you up from your Cairo hotel in a modern A.C. car to begin your journey with a 4-hour drive to Bahariya Oasis. Don’t worry about the tour’s length; we’ll stop midway to rest and eat. Upon arriving at 11:30 a.m., we’ll switch to a 4×4 safari vehicle.
You’ll meet your expert local Bedouin guide and start your tour of the desert’s unrivalled sights. Including the Sand Dunes area, where you can capture stunning photos atop a dune over 50 meters tall. Next, we’ll journey to the dark desert land to see “El Marcos Mountain,” a magnificent sandy mountain covered in black stones and minerals that resemble iron and coal. This area, formed by ancient volcanic activity, provides incredible photo opportunities.
Agabat, White Desert, and Camping Experience
In the afternoon, we’ll head to “El Haiz village” for lunch and explore a market where you can buy Bedouin clothing, accessories, and handcrafted gifts. Around 2:30 p.m., you’ll go with your Bedouin guide to Agabat, known for its incredible sculptures and limestone, once called the Land of Obstacles, which took three days to cross by camel.
Before sunset, you’ll visit the White Desert, where the white sand resembles snow, and wind-carved rocks that look like human heads, mushrooms, and plants, creating a surreal scene. Capture memorable images as you watch the stunning sunset, with the landscape changing from orange during the day to pink and purple under the moonlight. Afterwards, we’ll return to the Black Desert for camping, stopping at Crystal Mountain to see its glass-like stones and desert wolf tracks. In the Black Desert, the Bedouins will prepare a delicious Barbeque supper, and you’ll gather to admire the starry sky while spending the night in a tent.
Day 2: Bahariya Oasis in the Black Desert – Cairo
You’ll go for a walk around the area early in the morning. Before sunrise, to see the stunning sunrise vista between the mountains, which looks like it’s about to erupt. You’ll eat your breakfast before gathering all of your camping gear and leaving the region. Around 9:00 a.m., you’ll be transferred to a 4×4 and driven to the tallest mountain in the black desert, where you’ll enjoy the scenery and take some photos.
After that, you’ll visit “Ein Mady,” one of the most amazing warm springs in Bahariya Oasis, primarily used for irrigation. You’ll see palm tree areas and hear stories from your guide about cultivating these magnificent trees.
As a result, the Bahariya oasis is one of the most important hubs for date production in the world.
Finally, you’ll return to the city, where you’ll swap your 4×4 for a modern air-conditioned vehicle that will take you back to your hotel, concluding your safari in Cairo.
