10-Day Egypt Tour Package Itinerary
1st day: Welcome to the Pharaohs’ Land
Arrive at Cairo International Airport, where our representative will greet you with a sign saying “Egypt Fun Tours.” After assistance with travel arrangements and luggage, you’ll be driven to a luxury air-conditioned hotel in Cairo to settle in and relax.
In the evening, enjoy a spectacular Nile dinner cruise featuring traditional shows and local music that highlight Egyptian culture before returning to your hotel for the night.
2nd day: Visit the Museum and Pyramids of Giza
After breakfast, your Egyptologist will drive you to:
- Giza Pyramids Complex: Explore the historical site honoring the 4th dynasty rulers, including the largest pyramid built by Pharaoh Cheops.
- The Great Sphinx of Giza: Admire this iconic granite sculpture with the head of Pharaoh Chephren.
- The Valley Temple: Discover the temple built for Pharaoh Chephren, featuring magnificent statues and stunning pink-granite columns.
For lunch, visit the Egyptian Museum, home to over 250,000 artifacts showcasing Ancient Egypt’s rich history. Afterward, return to your hotel in Cairo.
3rd day: Visit the East Bank of Luxor
Arrive in Luxor and meet your expert Egyptologist. Begin your exploration at:
- Karnak Temple: The largest religious complex dedicated to Amun-Ra, dating back to 2055 BC.
After lunch on a 5-star luxury Nile cruise, visit:
- Luxor Temple by Night: An enormous ancient temple complex believed to be a site for royal coronations.
Spend the night on your Nile cruise.
4th day: Visit the West Bank of Luxor
After breakfast, continue your Luxor adventure with visits to:
- Temple of Hatshepsut: Explore the temple dedicated to Egypt’s first female pharaoh, known for her prosperous reign.
- Valley of the Kings: Discover the royal burial site containing 63 tombs, including that of Tutankhamun.
- Memnon’s Colossi: View the twin statues of Amenhotep III at the entrance to his mortuary temple.
Return to your Nile cruise for an overnight stay.
5th day: Explore the Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples
In the morning, take a horse-drawn carriage to:
- Temple of Edfu: Visit one of the best-preserved temples, dating from the Ptolemaic Kingdom.
After a lunch on board, sail to Kom Ombo to see:
- Temple of Kom Ombo: An unusual twin temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus, featuring two entrances and sanctuaries.
Continue your cruise until you reach Aswan.
6th day: Marvel at the Abu Simbel Great Temples
Early in the morning, your tour guide will pick you up for a fascinating journey to:
- Temples of Abu Simbel: Explore the impressive rock-cut temples built by Ramses II to commemorate his victory at the Battle of Kadesh.
After your visit, return to the Nile cruise for lunch and an overnight stay.
7th day: Tour of Aswan’s Attractions
After breakfast and check-out, meet your tour guide to explore Aswan’s top historical sites:
- The High Dam: An engineering marvel built between 1960 and 1970, standing 111 meters high, 1 kilometer wide, and 3.5 kilometers long. It was designed to control Nile floods effectively.
- Temple of Philae: Constructed in 690 AD to honor the goddess Isis, this temple is a remarkable example of the ancient cult surrounding the myth of Isis and Osiris.
- The Unfinished Obelisk: This massive obelisk, initiated by Queen Hatshepsut, is 42 meters long and weighs 1,100 tonnes, making it one of the largest ever carved.
After lunch at a fine dining restaurant, take a flight back to Cairo, where you will check into a 5-star hotel for the remainder of the day.
Day 8: Begin Your Desert Journey
Early in the morning, you’ll be transferred to:
- Oasis of Bahariya: After lunch in Al-Bawaiti City, a Toyota Land Cruiser will take you to the Black Desert and the Bedouin village of El Hez Shower. Explore Crystal Mountain and enjoy sandboarding at the Agabat Area (also known as “The Wonders Area”).
Visit the Old White Desert, seeing unique sites like the Flower Stone, Tents Valley, and Mushroom Rock. In the evening, enjoy Bedouin entertainment, tea, a barbecue dinner, and an overnight camping experience in the desert.
9th day: Continue the Desert Excursion and Return to Cairo
Capture breathtaking dawn photos, followed by breakfast. Visit a hot spring before heading back to Cairo. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and then check into a five-star hotel for the night.
Last day: Finish Your 10-Day Egypt Tour and Return Home
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before checking out. Your driver will take you in a private air-conditioned car to Cairo International Airport for your departure. Safe travels!
