Day 1: Fly from Hurghada to Cairo and See the Pyramids of Giza

We will pick you up from your Hurghada hotel in a private, air-conditioned modern vehicle and transport you to Hurghada airport for your flight to Cairo. Our tour guide will meet you at Cairo airport to begin your 2-day trip to Cairo from Hurghada by plane, immersing you in the history of Ancient Egyptian Pharaohs, starting with:

Giza Pyramids Complex The legendary Giza Pyramids complex, dating back to 2600 B.C., stands as an eternal open-air museum. It showcases the heavenly wonders of ancient Egypt through its colossal structures: the three main Pyramids, six smaller Pyramids, the majestic Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple.

The Great Pyramid of Giza

Pharaoh Khufu’s Great Pyramid, built approximately 2570 BC, has remained the world’s tallest structure for over 3800 years. It stands 147 meters tall and weighs around 6 million tonnes. The Great Pyramid’s interior houses spectacular chambers, including the king’s and queen’s chambers, among others.

The Great Sphinx of Giza A magnificent work of art, the Great Sphinx was carved from a single limestone rock during King Chephren’s reign (2558 BC – 2532 BC). It features the face of a pharaoh and the body of an epic, prehistoric lion.

The Valley Temple

The Valley Temple, a timeless granite funerary structure built around 2600 BC, served Egyptian pharaohs for mummification rituals on their royal remains before they accessed the gates of heaven through the Giza pyramids.

After lunch at a local eatery, head to Egypt’s oldest pyramid:

Step Pyramid of Saqqara The great intellect Imhotep built the Saqqara step pyramid in the 27th century B.C. for Pharaoh Djoser. This structure, consisting of six steps and reaching a height of 62 meters, features its own complex, ushering in the golden era of pyramid building.

Finally, check into a 5-star hotel in Cairo for the night. Lunch is included, as are flights from Hurghada to Cairo, and your overnight stay at the Cairo hotel.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Old Cairo – Return to Your Hurghada Hotel

After breakfast, check out of your hotel. Your private tour guide will accompany you to continue your 2-day flight to Cairo from Hurghada by touring Old Cairo, beginning with:

The Egyptian Museum The magnificent Egyptian Museum, the first museum built in the heart of the golden city of Cairo in 1901 AD, preserves and displays the most magnificent collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities and monuments.

Lunch will be served at a local Cairo restaurant, after which you will visit:

Citadel of Salah El Din

The charming Cairo Citadel, built from 1176 to 1182 AD, served as Egypt’s center of government until the 1860s. This grand stronghold from the storybooks brims with enchanting architectural wonders, magical museums, and mosques.

Mohamed Ali Mosque Often called “The Alabaster Mosque” due to its immaculate alabaster walls, the everlasting and huge Mohamed Ali Mosque was built between 1830 and 1848 AD. You’ll find it within the famous Cairo Citadel, standing as an excellent example of Ottoman architecture.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC), which opened in 2017 and was completely restored in 2020, showcases a captivating collection of various artifacts and monuments, including a number of royal mummies, from all facets of ancient Egypt’s rich history and culture.

Al Muizz Street Al-Muizz Street, a cultural hub of attractiveness and grandeur, emerged in the wonderful city of wonders and minarets around the 10th century AD. This lovely social center, located close to the magical Khan El Khalili bazaar, offers many interesting cafes.

Khan El Khalili Bazaar

The magnificent Khan El-Khalili bazaar is a mythological street full of endless treasures. Built between 1382 and 1389 AD, it became Cairo’s finest and most attractive shopping district, filled with the most spectacular monuments and commodities from the city’s rich history and culture.
