Many tourists and artists have drawn inspiration from the Great Sphinx, the celestial spirit that watches over this sacred land since there is still much awe and mystery surrounding these enormous structures. It is shaped after the mythological monster known as the sphinx, which has the body of a lion and the head of King Khafre, which represents strength and wisdom. It is 73 meters (240 feet) tall and 19 meters (66 feet) wide.

Mosque of Amr Ibn Al Aas
As the first mosque to be erected in Africa, Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque made history in 641 AD. One of the most significant and well-known Islamic structures in Egypt, the mosque is still in use as a place of prayer. It was repeatedly reconstructed from the seventh century till the present. The mosque has undergone several reconstructions, making it a tangible illustration of the development of Islamic architecture over the ages.
Synagogue of Ben Ezra
There is no location like the Ben Ezra Synagogue in all of Egypt, therefore it is beyond comparison. It was formerly a church that was converted to a synagogue in 882 AD.
