This seven-day “Egypt and Nile tour” offers an unforgettable experience. It combines exploring Egypt’s captivating ancient sites with a luxurious cruise along the Nile River. The journey starts in Cairo, where you’ll visit the city’s bustling attractions. From there, you’ll take a scenic overnight train to Aswan to explore its majestic temples. Next, you will uncover the timeless wonders of Luxor before returning to Cairo for your final departure. This well-tailored package ensures you get the most out of a limited time, blending ancient history with modern life in Egypt.

7-Day Egypt and Nile Tour

This well-tailored tour is an ideal way to experience the highlights of Egypt in just one week. From the ancient pyramids to the temples of the Nile, this journey offers an in-depth look into the country’s rich history and vibrant culture.

1st day: Cairo Arrival & Check-In

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, a representative will meet and assist you with all airport formalities. You’ll then transfer to your hotel and check in for an overnight stay.

2nd day: Pyramids of Giza & Saqqara

After breakfast, a private guide will take you to the Giza Pyramids to see the pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure, as well as the Great Sphinx. Enjoy an authentic Egyptian lunch at a countryside restaurant before proceeding to Saqqara. Here, you will see the Step Pyramid of King Djoser—the very first pyramid. You can also see the pyramids of Dahshur from a distance. In the evening, you have the option to attend the Sound and Light Show at Giza. Afterward, you will return to your hotel for the night.

3rd day: Aswan & Nile Cruise

After breakfast, you’ll transfer to Cairo International Airport for a flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, you’ll meet your private guide to begin your tour. You will visit the High Dam, built in the 1960s to control the Nile’s annual flood, and the Unfinished Obelisk, a huge obelisk from the 18th Dynasty. Afterward, check into your Nile cruise ship for lunch. In the afternoon, take a felucca ride around Elephantine Island and sail past the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Enjoy dinner onboard.

4th day: Sailing to Kom Ombo & Edfu

Enjoy breakfast while sailing along the Nile. The first stop is the unusual double temple of Kom Ombo, which is dedicated to two gods: Horus (the falcon god) and Sobek (the crocodile god). Next, you will take a horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Edfu, the second-largest temple in Egypt, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. Lunch and dinner will be served on board as you continue sailing toward Luxor.

5th day: Luxor’s West & East Bank

After breakfast, you will start your tour of Luxor’s West Bank. You’ll explore the Valley of the Kings, which contains 65 tombs of pharaohs, and the Valley of the Queens. You will also visit the temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to your cruise for lunch. In the afternoon, you will explore the East Bank, visiting the Karnak and Luxor Temples. Dinner will be on board your cruise ship.

Day 6: Cairo & Islamic Cairo

After breakfast on the cruise, you will transfer to Luxor Airport for a flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, a representative will meet you to begin your tour of the city. You’ll visit the Egyptian Museum, which houses over 120,000 artifacts, including the amazing collection of King Tutankhamun. After lunch at a restaurant by the Nile, you’ll explore Islamic Cairo. Here, you will visit the Citadel of Saladin, the Mosque of Mohammed Ali, the first mosque ever built in Egypt (the Mosque of Amr ibn al-As), and the famous Khan el-Khalili bazaar. You will then check into your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will transfer to Cairo Airport for your final departure. You will leave with a lifetime of great memories from Egypt.
