You will start your Cairo vacation with a romantic dinner cruise on the magnificent Nile after being transported by a private air-conditioned vehicle from the airport to your hotel to check in.
In line with Egypt’s whirling dervishes heritage, you will experience a vibrant belly dance performance with a folklore band that includes the iconic Tannoura spin before returning to your accommodation for the night.
Day 2: Have a Special Date with Your Partner at the Pyramids: After breakfast, you’ll meet your own tour guide to start your Honeymoon journey in Egypt by visiting the most important sites of the ancient Egyptian civilization, beginning with:
Giza Pyramids Complex
The Giza pyramids complex, which goes back more than 4000 years and includes the three major pyramids, six smaller pyramids, the great sphinx, and the valley temple, is home to the oldest marvel in existence.
The Great Pyramid
One of the most well-known objects on the planet is the Great Pyramid of Khufu, which dates to 2580 BC, making it more than 4500 years old. With 2,300,000 pieces of limestone used in its construction over 20 years, it is still one of the largest buildings in the world. Its height of 147 meters (481 feet) made it the highest structure in the world for 3800 years until the Lincoln Cathedral in England was built in 1311. About the pyramid’s origin, function, and amazing construction, there are many fringe beliefs.
The Great Sphinx
Since ancient times, Egypt has only had one guardian—the mighty sphinx. Since there is still much mystery surrounding the monument’s age, function, and origin, it has inspired innumerable dreamers and travelers throughout the years and continues to do so now. It is the oldest statue on the whole globe. It is 73 meters (240 feet) tall, 19 meters (66 feet) wide, and is shaped after the mythological creature known as the sphinx, which has a lion’s body and a man’s head—likely king Khafre—as a sign of strength and wisdom.
The Valley Temple
The Valley Temple is one of the best-preserved structures of the ancient Egyptian civilization, made entirely of limestone and granite, and holds amazing diorite statues of King Chephren in addition to showcasing a great deal of information about the ritual burial practices of that time. It is the location where the rulers of nature were broken by difficult times with the mummification process that took place since Egypt’s Old Kingdom (2686-2181 BC).
go to a local Cairo restaurant for a romantic lunch. Then, we’ll go over to see:
Step Pyramid of Saqqara
The Saqqara Step Pyramid is the oldest large-cut stone building in the world, making it one of a kind. It was constructed by Pharaoh Djoser’s wisecracking vizier Imhotep. With six stairs and a height of 62 meters, it has a distinctive design. The complex that surrounds the pyramid was the first of its type and has exquisite ornamentation and imposing ceremonial buildings, ushering in the golden era of architecture.
City of Memphis
Memphis City, the first designated capital, was renowned for being the “land of endurance and beauty,” created by King Menes to “by the life of the two countries.” The patron deity of creation and art, Ptah, resides there. It is home to several monuments going back more than 4,000 years to prominent figures from ancient Egypt, including Ramses II, as well as magnificent temples dedicated to gods and goddesses like Aton and Hathor.
Finally, we return you to your hotel where you will spend the night.
Day 3: Enjoy a romantic stroll around Old Cairo with your significant other: Following breakfast and check-out from the hotel, you will continue your tour of seven Egypt honeymoon destinations by taking in the sights of Cairo, beginning with:
The Egyptian Museum
The Egyptian Museum, one of the largest museums in the world, is home to many magnificent items and monuments dating back more than 4000 years from all different historical periods. It is here that the wonderful legacy of ancient Egypt is kept. Mummies of some of the most prominent figures in ancient Egyptian history are on exhibit. King Tutankhamun’s treasures are the most often seen artifacts out of about 120,000 rare, real items produced from luxurious materials like gold or jewels to simple ones like wood or stone that include sculptures, jewelry, and funeral artifacts.
In Cairo, lunch will be provided at a neighborhood eatery before the tour.
Citadel of Salah El Din
Salah El-Din Citadel was built in 1182 AD by the famous conqueror Salah El-Din, earning it the moniker Cairo Citadel for how it appears and totally towers over the whole city of Cairo. In the latter part of the 19th century, it was transformed into the government’s seat of power after serving as the heart of the rule and a strong defensive bastion against Napoleon’s French invasion and the Crusaders. A courtroom, an armory, four locations, a large terrace, and various gates and mosques with breathtaking architecture are all located within the citadel.
Mosque of Mohamed Ali
The Mohamed Ali Mosque sometimes referred to as the alabaster mosque, is a magnificent piece of architectural art. Between 1830 and 1848 AD, it was built as a copy of the blue mosque in Istanbul and as a protest against Ottoman Empire royal law, which forbade anybody other than the Turkish sultan from building mosques with more than two minarets. With its magnificent dome, exquisite finishing, and Ottoman-style construction with French rococo influences, the mosque is spectacular.
The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization
The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is a trip through time and space where visitors may learn about Egypt’s fascinating history and culture while admiring some of the most unique structures and artifacts ever produced.
Market in Khan El Khalili
The Khan El Khalili Bazaar, the oldest in the area and dating back to 970 AD when Cairo was founded, is the Middle East’s version of the wizarding golden brick path. The street is still in use today and has everything a traveler might want in addition to all the enchanted cafés and stores that have been there for centuries. The beautiful Islamic buildings and street decorations are all really alluring and are still in fantastic shape today.
You will leave for the airport in Cairo at the conclusion of the day, take a flight to Hurghada, and then check into a five-star hotel for the night.
