It was constructed in 1479 BC and took 15 years to complete.

Memnon’s Colossi: The Colossi of Memnon are two enormous slabs of quartzite sandstone that are shaped like Pharaoh Amenhotep III and rise at a height of 18 meters (60 feet) (1386-1350).
