9-Day Tour Itinerary
1st day: Welcome to Egypt
Arrive in Cairo, where our representative will assist you with passport formalities and transfer you to a 5-star hotel. In the evening, enjoy a dinner cruise on the Nile before returning to your hotel for the night.
2nd day: Explore the Giza Pyramids
After breakfast, meet your guide to visit the Giza Pyramids, including the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then visit the Step Pyramid of Saqqara, the first large-scale stone building in history. Return to your hotel in Cairo for the night.
3rd day: Discover Alexandria
Travel to Alexandria with your Egyptologist guide to see the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, Pompey’s Pillar, and the Citadel of Qaitbay. After lunch at a seafood restaurant, visit the Alexandria Library, one of the world’s greatest literary institutions. Return to your hotel in Cairo for the night.
Day 4: Fly to Aswan
After breakfast, check out and fly to Aswan. Visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Enjoy lunch on a 5-star luxury Nile cruise and spend the night on board.
5th day: Visit Kom Ombo Temple
Start your day with a visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo, overlooking the Nile. This unique temple features two separate temples, each with its entrance and sanctuaries.
Day 6: Explore Edfu Temple
Visit the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the god Horus and known as the best-preserved Greco-Roman structure in Egypt, showcasing scenes of Horus’s victory over Seth. After lunch, set sail for Luxor and spend the night on board.
7th day: Discover Luxor
After breakfast, check out from the ship and explore Luxor with your guide in a private vehicle. Visit:
- Valley of the Kings: The burial site of pharaohs, including Ramses II and Tutankhamun, with well-preserved tombs.
- Temple of Hatshepsut: A stunning three-tiered temple dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut.
- Memnon’s Colossi: Two massive statues of King Amenhotep III, remnants of his funerary temple.
Enjoy lunch on a nearby island and conclude your day at the Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in Egypt. Transfer to a 5-star hotel in Luxor for the night.
Day 8: Explore Cairo
After breakfast, fly from Luxor to Cairo. Visit the Egyptian Museum, home to over 250,000 artifacts, including treasures from Tutankhamun’s tomb. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then explore:
- Mosque of Amr Ibn Al Aas: The oldest mosque in Egypt, built in 642 A.D.
- Hanging Church: One of Egypt’s oldest churches, built over the Babylon Fortress.
- Synagogue of Ben Ezra: The oldest surviving synagogue in Egypt, dating back to the 4th century.
- National Museum of Egyptian Civilization: Showcasing Egypt’s cultural treasures.
- Khan El Khalili Market: The oldest and most famous market in the Middle East.
Return to your hotel in Cairo for the night.
Last day: Departure
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight home, concluding your unforgettable trip to Egypt.
