Giza Pyramids Complex

The Giza Pyramids complex includes three main pyramids, six smaller pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. Notably, the complex dates back to the 4th dynasty, around 2400 years B.C.

The Great Pyramid

The Great Pyramid belongs to “King Khufu” and is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids on the Giza plateau. Furthermore, it is the only one to remain intact among the seven wonders of the ancient world. Standing at a height of 147 m, it consists of approximately 2,300,000 stones and took twenty years to construct.

The Great Sphinx

Next, we will explore the Great Sphinx, which belongs to “King Chephren.” This magnificent statue is the largest in the world, measuring 73 m long, 19 m wide, and 20 m high. Additionally, it is the oldest known monumental sculpture.

The Valley Temple

Afterward, we will visit the Valley Temple, a granite mortuary temple used by ancient Egyptians for the mummification process.
