3-Night Family Nile Cruise Itinerary

1st day: Discover Aswan’s Wonders

Start your family tour by exploring Aswan’s attractions:
- Aswan High Dam: Built in the 1960s to control flooding, save water for Lake Nasser, and generate hydroelectricity, transforming the region economically and culturally.
- Unfinished Obelisk: This incomplete obelisk was intended to be 42 meters tall and weigh 1200 tonnes, dating back to the reign of Hatshepsut (1507–1458 BC).
- Temple of Philae: Dedicated to the Goddess Isis, this temple showcases significant tales from Egyptian mythology, built during the Ptolemaic period (7th century BC).
Enjoy lunch and dinner before boarding your 5-star Nile Cruise for the night.

2nd day: Explore Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples

Breakfast on the Nile Cruise before visiting:
- Temple of Kom Ombo: A unique double temple dedicated to Horus and Sobek, built between 180 BC and 47 BC.
- Temple of Edfu: One of the best-preserved temples, dedicated to Horus, built between 237 BC and 57 BC at the site of Horus’s battle with Set.
Return to the cruise for lunch, dinner, and overnight stay.

3rd day: Luxor’s Heavenly Wonders

After breakfast, check out and travel to Luxor with your guide:
- Valley of the Kings: The burial site of 63 pharaohs and queens, including Tutankhamun, with magnificent treasures and decorations.
- Temple of Hatshepsut: Carved into the cliffs to honor Hatshepsut and host the valley festival.
- Colossi of Memnon: Twin statues representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III.
Lunch break, then visit the Karnak Temple Complex, the largest outdoor museum in ancient Egypt. It took the ancient Egyptians 1500 years to build it.
