Tour Itinerary

Detailed itinerary of the 9 Days Easter Holiday to The Miracles of Egypt

Day 1: Welcome to Egypt: Welcome to the “Land of the Pharaohs.” Our representative will greet you at the Cairo airport, assist you with the passport requirements, and then drive you in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to a 5-star hotel in Cairo so you can check in. Your tour guide will be with you as you enjoy a dinner cruise with a view of the Nile in the evening. You will then go back to the hotel for the night.

Day 2: Say hello to the Pharaohs at the Cairo Pyramids: After breakfast at your accommodation, meet your tour guide to begin your nine-day adventure of Egypt over the Easter vacation by gazing at one of the seven wonders of the world:

Egyptian Pyramids in Giza

Unleash your soul and get fully immersed in the sensation of pride and power of the Egyptian pharaohs as you explore the famous ancient civilization of Egypt on the Giza plateau. Six smaller pyramids, the large sphinx, the Valley Temple, and three major pyramids make up the complex. The structure is 2400 years old, from the 4th dynasty.

The Great Pyramid

The only preserved pyramid among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, it is the oldest and biggest of the three pyramids on the Giza plateau. The Pyramid is King Khufu’s property. The great pyramid is 147 meters tall, was erected over the course of 20 years, and 2,300,000 stones were utilized in its construction. One of the greatest accomplishments of the ancient Egyptians was this.

The Great Sphinx

The Sphinx, which is owned by King Chephren and is 73 meters long, 19 meters broad, and 20 meters tall, is the biggest statue in the world. The monument has the earliest known sculpture in it. It was constructed because the ancient Egyptians thought it would make them dread their enemies and keep the three Pyramids safe.

The Valley Temple

There is just one extant ancient Egyptian granite funerary temple on the Giza plateau, and it was used for mummification.

Your lunch will be provided at a Cairo restaurant when your adventure at the Giza Pyramids is over. Next, go to Egypt’s ancient pyramids.

Step Pyramid of Saqqara

It was created during the time of King Djoser, who governed Egypt in the 27th century B.C. and is regarded as the first large-scale cut-stone structure. The Sakkara step pyramid is made up of six steps that are stacked on top of one another and are 62 meters tall.

We will then return you to your hotel in Cairo so you may spend the night there.

Day 3: Reward Yourself With Attractions in Alexandria: Breakfast in the morning, then you get ready for an exciting new day of your Easter vacation in Egypt as you go in a private A/C vehicle with an Egyptologist tour guide to see the most well-known Alexandria tourist sites in the coastal city of Alexandria, beginning with:

Kom El Shoqafa’s catacombs

a Roman cemetery where a family tomb exhibits the fusion of Roman and Egyptian design. To see the tomb and Caracalla Hall, go underneath.

Return to the surface and continue your visit:

Pompey’s Pillar

a 25-meter-tall (82-foot) granite column erected as a monument to Emperor Diocletian, who liberated the besieged city and provided food for its hungry citizens.

Citadel of Qaitbay

On the Mediterranean seashore, a castle from the fifteenth century. In the year 1477, Sultan Al-Ashraf Qa’id Bay founded it. Pharos Island and Qaitbay Citadel are both located in the same area.

We’ll have lunch at a seafood restaurant before going to see:

Alexandria Library

The library is one of the world’s greatest literary institutions since it has copies of every book ever written. The Alexandria Library also has a number of displays of Egyptian history as well as a collection of priceless old books.

We will return you to your hotel in Cairo so you may stay the night.

Day 4: Let the Beauty of Aswan & the Nile Nourish Your Soul: Enjoy your breakfast in the morning, check out of the hotel, and then we’ll take you to the Cairo airport to catch your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, continue your nine-day Easter vacation in Egypt with a tour of the top Aswan sights, beginning with:

High Dam at Aswan

It was erected over the Nile River at Aswan between 1960 and 1970, and its construction has had a profound impact on Egypt’s economy and culture.

The Unfinished Obelisk

It was built by Queen Hatshepsut (1508 1458 BC) to accompany the Lateran Obelisk, which was initially located at Karnak and was eventually transported to the Lateran Palace in Rome. It was the biggest obelisk in antiquity.

Temple of Philae

Isis of Love and Beauty is the goddess honored in the Philae Temple. As part of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign initiative, the temple complex was disassembled and moved to the adjacent island of Agilkia Island in order to safeguard it and other sites before the Aswan High Dam was finished in 1970.

After work, take a 5-star luxury Nile cruise for lunch and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Go to the Kom Ombo Temple: Early in the morning, meet with your tour guide and travel to:

Temple of Kom Ombo

The Nile is seen from the Kom Ombo Temple. This temple is split into two separate temples, each having its own entrance, hypostyle Hall, and sanctuaries.

Return to the ship and keep sailing north. Edfu overnight stay

Day 6: Examine the Edfu Temple’s artistic nuances: Enjoy a great breakfast on board the cruise in the morning before joining your tour guide to visit:

Temple of Edfu

Honoring the god Horus. The Edfu Temple is the most well-preserved Greco-Roman structure in all of Egypt, and a play depicting the victory of Horus over Seth is painted on its walls.

After noon, set sail for Luxor; upon arrival, stay overnight on board.

Day 7: Explore the Pharaohs’ Capital’s Treasures: After breakfast, check out of the boat. Your tour guide and a private air-conditioned car will then accompany you as you finish your nine-day Egypt Easter vacation by seeing the main sights in Luxor, beginning at:

The Kings’ Valley

It is one of the most popular Egypt tourist destinations and the last resting place of Egypt’s kings from the 18th to the 20th dynasties. Tombs here include those of Ramses II and Tutankhamun. The tombs were fully furnished with everything a monarch may want in the afterlife in terms of material things. The majority of the interior decorations are still in good condition. During your travel to Egypt, you must see the Valley of the Kings.

Temple of Hatshepsut

One of the most stunning and well-preserved of all the Egyptian temples is Queen Hatshepsut Temple. The temple was constructed on three levels, connected by two large ramps in the middle.

Memnon’s Colossi

Only two enormous stone sculptures of King Amenhotep III survive in a funerary temple that was once completely constructed. The sculptures are constructed from quartzite sandstone stones that were originally found in Cairo and transported 700 km to Luxor.

After that, go to a nearby island for lunch so that your tour will also include a boat ride down the Nile River. Finish your adventure with a visit to:

Temple of Karnak

The Karnak Temple is the most spectacular landmark in Egypt. It is the biggest complex of temples ever constructed by humans. It stands for the culmination of the work of countless pharaohs and ancient architects. Three major temples make up the Temple of Karnak, which is spread over 247 acres of land.

Transfer to a 5-star hotel in Luxor to check in and spend the night.

Day 8: Discover Old Cairo’s Undiscovered Gems: After having breakfast at the hotel, you should check out and head to the airport in Luxor to board a flight to Cairo. Once there, you should meet your Egyptologist tour guide to begin the final leg of your Easter vacation’s discovery journey at some of the most well-known Cairo tourist attractions, beginning with:

The Egyptian Museum

A unique collection of artwork from the last 5000 years is on display at the Egyptian Museum. There are more than 250,000 authentic objects on display, including a display of Tutankhamun’s collection of gold, jewels, and treasures that was kept safe in his tomb for more than 3,500 years.

In Cairo, lunch will be provided in a neighborhood eatery before visiting:

Mosque of Amr Ibn Al Aas

The Amr Ibn Alas Mosque, which was constructed in 642 A.D., is the earliest mosque ever constructed, not only in Egypt but also in all of Africa. Nothing of the original structure survives since it has undergone considerable rebuilding over the ages.

The Hanging Church

One of Egypt’s earliest churches, having been built in the third century AD. The Hanging Church gave this church its name since it was constructed over the Babylon Fortress.

Synagogue of Ben Ezra

The oldest synagogue still standing in Egypt was built in a fourth-century church and dates back to the ninth century. Ben Ezra later purchased it when the Copts were compelled to sell to pay taxes. The renowned Geniza Documents were found in the basement of the synagogue.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

With the aid of the most captivating monuments and artifacts that illustrate the history and culture of Egypt’s periods from the Prehistoric to Ancient Egyptian Periods, Greco-Roman, Coptic, Islamic, and finally Contemporary Modern Times, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is offering the journey of a lifetime to fully explore the immortal essence of Egypt where every traveler will get to create some beautiful memories.

What People Say About Us
5/5

Thank you Egypt Fun Tours for a most memorable trip. I admit I didn’t do any of the planning (it was all done by my boyfriend) but as you can read in the reviews below Hani (the owner of Egypt Fun Tours) is superbly organized and accommodating with scheduling.

My boyfriend and I, and our dearest mutual friend, booked the 7Days-6Nights tour. In short time, we visited Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor sailing down the down the Nile, pit stopping to see key sites at these location – and so much more!!! We got to know the ancient and modern egypt in depth thanks to Hani’s impressive knowledge. He also enlightened us on the people and their beliefs and went as far as showing us what a typical life looks like. I cannot express the level of personalized service Hani offered us. He was flexible to adapt to our requirements and added sites to our schedule that was not part of the tour simply to ensure we were 100% satisfied with our experience in Egypt.

I went to Egypt practically blind-folded, not knowing what to expect, especially considering the time we had decided to go (December 2020 – we were the first group that Hani met with after months of having to put his tour agency on hold considering the pandemic) yet he managed to surpass all of our expectations. I felt so incredibly lucky for us to have stumbled on Hani. I would recommend Egypt Fun Tours to anyone and everyone. It was truly, HANDS DOWN, the best cultural experience I’ve ever had. You’ll be in the best of hands.

Hamada was incredible! So knowledgeable and kind. He had information about every item, street corner, and relic we looked at. Any questions we had, he had answers! He even made sure to give us tips while walking through the crowds so that’s we would feel more comfortable when being approached by vendors. Oh and the food?! He took us to the best places! Delicious food!! We tried Egyptian fried chicken, falafel for the first time, the best shawarma in the city (we love food). We even got to meet his beautiful wife and children and try some “French” Egyptian coffee in their home! Truly made friends for life!! We’ve promised to host him and the family when they travel to America for the first time! Such an incredible experience, and Hamada (and family) made it that much more memorable and amazing!

Excellent trip to historic sites with no one else around. We came to see Egypt while most places still had COVID19 fears. The staff at Egypt Fun Tours were professional, safe, and great to deal with. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and entertaining. I feel like I just got a a year of Egyptology in the last week and we had all the sites to ourselves due to COVID19. While people are shutting down and staying home you should feel safe to come explore with Egypt Fun Tours and have the place to yourself.
