Detailed itinerary of the 6 Days Honeymoon Tour Package

Your trip will begin the moment you arrive at Cairo airport. You will be picked up from the airport and driven to your 5* hotel reservation in a private air-conditioned car. In the evening, you and your partner will begin your magical honeymoon in Egypt with a dinner cruise on the one and only Nile River, followed by a colorful belly dancing show with a folklore band that includes an amazing Tannoura spin in keeping with Egypt’s whirling dervishes tradition. After the show, you will return to your hotel for the night.

Day 2: The Pyramids Help You Celebrate Your Immortal Love: After breakfast, you’ll meet up with your own tour guide to begin your historical honeymoon in Egypt by visiting the world’s most famous ancient monument, the Giza Pyramids:

Giza Pyramids Complex

The complex has been standing for 4000 years, making it one of the world’s oldest intact monuments. The Giza complex includes three main pyramids, six smaller pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple, which houses the afterlife.

The Great Pyramid of Giza

Within the complex, the enormous pyramid of Khufu will be the first place you and your spouse will visit. It is one of the world’s largest constructions and the final surviving edifice of the ancient world’s seven wonders. The structure dates back to 2580 BC, making it more than 4500 years old. It took 20 years to construct, requiring 2,300,000 2.5-ton limestone stones and a workforce of 100,000 unpaid skilled craftsmen. Its height of 147 meters (481 feet) rendered it the world’s tallest building for 3800 years, until the completion of Lincoln Cathedral in England in 1311. Due to its complicated interior relative to its magnitude, the pyramid has been surrounded by riddles and fringe ideas for millennia.

The Great Sphinx of Giza

The Great Sphinx holds a unique place among Egypt’s and probably the world’s antiquities. Due to its age, size, and shady origin, it is one-of-a-kind. The Sphinx was cut out of single limestone rock and stands 73 meters (240 feet) tall and 19 meters (66 feet) wide. It is shaped like the Sphinx, a mythological creature with the body of a lion and the head of a man, King Khafre, to signify wisdom and force. It is known in Egypt as Abu Al-Hawl, which means “Father of Terror” in Arabic.

The Valley Temple

The mummification process was carried out at the Valley temple. The valley was built during the reign of the previous kingdom (2686 and 2134 BC). It is one of the best-preserved structures of ancient Egyptian culture and a wealth of knowledge on ancient Egyptian mummification. The valley is largely constructed of limestone and granite, and the spectacular diorite statues of King Khafre may be found there.

Proceed to a Nile / Pyramids View restaurant for a romantic lunch with your partner. After that, we’ll go to see:

Step Pyramid of Saqqara

The Saqqara Step Pyramid was one of the first pyramids ever built in Egypt, dating from 2700 BC. It was the Pyramid that started everything revolving around pyramids the golden age of ancient Egypt. It was constructed by the famed Imhotep, Pharaoh Djoser’s vizier. The pyramid, which is made completely of limestone and stands at a height of 62 meters, has a unique six-step design and is encircled by a one-of-a-kind complex.

Memphis City

Memphis city was the first official capital of ancient Egypt under the hand of its founder King Menes to be the life of the two lands after the unification of Egypt 4500 years ago, and it was the first official capital of ancient Egypt under the hand of its founder King Menes to be the life of the two lands after the unification of Egypt 4500 years ago. It was known as the Land of Endurance and Beauty, as well as the headquarters of the god Ptah’s rule, trade, and art (the Patron of Craftsmen). Memphis was home to the enormous temple of Hut-Ka-Ptah, which means (Enclosure of the Ka of Ptah) in Egyptian and was translated into Greek as Ai-Gy-Ptos, which is the etymological basis of the word Egypt.

Finally, we return you to the hotel where you will spend the night with your spouse.

Day 3: In Aswan, take a walk between the ancient stories: On the third day of your historical honeymoon in Egypt, you will have breakfast with your partner before checking out of the hotel and being transferred to Cairo airport to catch a flight to Aswan. Meet your own Egyptologist tour guide upon arrival, then begin the second portion of your romantic trip in Egypt by visiting Aswan’s landmarks, beginning with:

High Dam of Aswan

The High Dam, which was built between 1960 and 1970 during the rule of Gamal Adel-Nasser, reflects the modern soul of Luxor. The dam was built in collaboration with the Moscow-based Hydro Project Institute to improve Nile flood control, generate hydroelectricity, and offer more water storage for irrigation in its reservoir lake Nasser.

The Unfinished Obelisk

The Unfinished Obelisk is a monument worth seeing; it was built by Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) to stand at the entrance of the Karnak temple alongside the Lateran Obelisk, which is now housed in the Lateran palace in Rome; however, the obelisk was cracked during construction and remains there to this day; it stood 42 meters tall and weighed 1200 tonnes.

Temple of Philae

The “Myth of Osiris” on the temple walls tells the story of Isis’ husband “Osiris” being killed by his evil brother “Set” out of pure hatred and envy, then Osiris is resurrected to be the ruler of the underworld, then Set is defeated by Isis and Osiris Son Hours the sky God in a fierce battle at the temple of Edfu.

Proceed to the 5* hotel in Aswan to check in and spend the remainder of the day together.

Day 4: In Luxor, take a stroll among the sands of time with your soulmate: After breakfast, meet your private tour guide and proceed to the train station to board your first-class train to Luxor. Upon arrival, enjoy your romantic honeymoon in Egypt by visiting some of Egypt’s most well-known sights, including:

The Kings’ Valley

The Valley of the Kings is absolutely unique; it is located in the deep center of a mountain and serves as the ultimate resting place for Egypt’s greatest kings and queens (1570-1070 BC). Because of the numerous stunning decorations and breathtaking artifacts, UNESCO designated the valley as a World Heritage Site in 1979. It contains 63 tombs with enchanted objects, statues, hypnotic decorations, and the remains of pharaohs like Rameses I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, IX, IX, X, Amenhotep I, Hatshepsut, and the legendary boy-king Tutankhamun.

Temple of Hatshepsut

Temple of Hatshepsut Djeser-Djeseru (Holy of Holies) is the most authentic example of ancient Egyptian civilization’s beauty; it displays the grandeur of the new kingdom (1550-1070 BC), Hatshepsut’s devotion to Amun, and represents the eminence and attractiveness of one of ancient Egypt’s most successful rulers, Queen Hatshepsut. It was constructed in 1479 BC to accommodate the god Amun.

Memnon’s Colossi

The Colossi of Memnon are the giant guards of Luxor, and they are made up of two pieces of quartzite sandstone, each weighing 720 tonnes and shaped like Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386-1350). A huge earthquake in 27 BC wrecked the colossi, but they were reconstructed around 199 AD. During the Greco-Roman period, the sculptures became famous for a phenomenon known as The Vocal Memnon, which arose from the statues producing a sinning sound at dawn, which was nothing more than the sound of the wind blowing through the statue.

Then head to an island for a romantic lunch with your partner, thus your tour includes a Nile River boat ride followed by a visit to:

Temples of Karnak

The Karnak temple, which was known as Ipet-isu The Most Selected Of Places, and Pr-In House Of Amon, is the holiest of all the places in Luxor and probably the world. It is one of the world’s largest open-air museums. It is the world’s largest religious man-made structure, dating back over 4000 years and serving as the center of the ancient Egyptian kingdom’s religious traditions for about 1500 years.

Then you’ll check into a 5* hotel in Luxor for the night.

Day 5: Immerse yourself in the history of Old Cairo: Breakfast and check-out from the hotel in the morning, then transfer to Luxor airport for a trip to Cairo. Arrive in Cairo, meet your tour guide, and finish your honeymoon at the Egyptian Museum and Coptic and Islamic attractions in old Cairo:

The Egyptian Museum

The Egyptian Museum will make you feel as if you are living in a magical book of Egypt that contains all of its secrets, wonders, and mysteries; it is one of the world’s largest museums and houses a number of mesmerizing artifacts and monuments dating back over 4000 years from all of ancient Egypt’s time periods. Enjoy a romantic lunch with your partner at a local Cairo restaurant before visiting:

Citadel of Salah El Din

For centuries, the Salah El-Din Citadel, also known as the Cairo Citadel, has stood tall and guarded the city. Since its completion in 1182 AD by the renowned pharaoh Salah El-Din, it has provided a panoramic view of Cairo. It functioned as the kingdom’s headquarters and a formidable fortification against the Crusaders and Napoleon’s French invasion, and it served as the government’s headquarters for more than 700 years in the 19th century.

Mohamed Ali Mosque

Because of the heavy use of marble, Mohamed Ali Mosque is known as the alabaster mosque. It was built as a duplicate of Istanbul’s blue mosque between 1830 and 1848 AD and serves as a symbol of independence and freedom from the Ottoman Empire. With its Ottoman-style building with French rococo influences and a large spectacular dome, the mosque is extremely fascinating. Then proceed to one of the Middle East’s oldest bazaars:

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is the long-awaited miracle that will allow everyone to properly discover all of Egypt’s cultural and historical wonders, which are represented by rare and captivating artifacts and monuments.

Bazaar of Khan El Khalili

Khan El Khalili is a journey back in time to the time of the ancient Islamic empire. The bazaar is recognized as the Middle East’s golden brick road and is the Middle East’s oldest active market, dating back to 970 AD. The boulevard is lined with beautiful Islamic architecture and ornamentation.

What People Say About Us
5/5

Thank you Egypt Fun Tours for a most memorable trip. I admit I didn’t do any of the planning (it was all done by my boyfriend) but as you can read in the reviews below Hani (the owner of Egypt Fun Tours) is superbly organized and accommodating with scheduling.

My boyfriend and I, and our dearest mutual friend, booked the 7Days-6Nights tour. In short time, we visited Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor sailing down the down the Nile, pit stopping to see key sites at these location – and so much more!!! We got to know the ancient and modern egypt in depth thanks to Hani’s impressive knowledge. He also enlightened us on the people and their beliefs and went as far as showing us what a typical life looks like. I cannot express the level of personalized service Hani offered us. He was flexible to adapt to our requirements and added sites to our schedule that was not part of the tour simply to ensure we were 100% satisfied with our experience in Egypt.

I went to Egypt practically blind-folded, not knowing what to expect, especially considering the time we had decided to go (December 2020 – we were the first group that Hani met with after months of having to put his tour agency on hold considering the pandemic) yet he managed to surpass all of our expectations. I felt so incredibly lucky for us to have stumbled on Hani. I would recommend Egypt Fun Tours to anyone and everyone. It was truly, HANDS DOWN, the best cultural experience I’ve ever had. You’ll be in the best of hands.

Hamada was incredible! So knowledgeable and kind. He had information about every item, street corner, and relic we looked at. Any questions we had, he had answers! He even made sure to give us tips while walking through the crowds so that’s we would feel more comfortable when being approached by vendors. Oh and the food?! He took us to the best places! Delicious food!! We tried Egyptian fried chicken, falafel for the first time, the best shawarma in the city (we love food). We even got to meet his beautiful wife and children and try some “French” Egyptian coffee in their home! Truly made friends for life!! We’ve promised to host him and the family when they travel to America for the first time! Such an incredible experience, and Hamada (and family) made it that much more memorable and amazing!

Excellent trip to historic sites with no one else around. We came to see Egypt while most places still had COVID19 fears. The staff at Egypt Fun Tours were professional, safe, and great to deal with. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and entertaining. I feel like I just got a a year of Egyptology in the last week and we had all the sites to ourselves due to COVID19. While people are shutting down and staying home you should feel safe to come explore with Egypt Fun Tours and have the place to yourself.
