Tour Itinerary

Egypt Treasures in 8 Days Easter Holiday itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in the Magical Land – Begin your Egypt treaures in 8 Days Easter Holiday

When you arrive at Cairo airport, an employee from “Egypt Fun Tours” will meet you at your arrival gate and assist you with all passport control processes as well as baggage identification and carry.

Then, in the evening, you will go on a spectacular Dinner cruise on the everlasting Nile, where you will relax and enjoy a colorful belly dance display with a folklore band including a mesmerizing Tannoura spin in line with Egypt’s whirling dervishes heritage. You will return to your accommodation for the night at the conclusion of the day.

Day 2: Investigate the Ancient Egyptians’ Wonders

Early in the morning, eat your breakfast and check out of the hotel, then join your private tour guide to begin your easter vacation in Egypt by seeing some of the most beautiful historical sites on the planet, including:

Giza Pyramids Complex (Giza Pyramids Complex)

Since its inception 4000 years ago, the Giza pyramids complex has awaited your arrival. The Giza complex includes three major pyramids, six smaller pyramids, the magnificent sphinx, and the Valley Temple of Immortality.

The Great Pyramid of Giza

The Great Pyramid of Khufu is a real living marvel since it is the last surviving construction of the ancient world’s seven wonders. It was built in 2580 BC in 20 years with 2,300,000 2.5-ton limestone stones and a workforce of 100,000 free skilled craftsmen. The Great Pyramid rises at a height of 147 meters (481 feet), making it the world’s highest edifice for 3800 years. Due to its complicated interior relative to its immense size, the great pyramid continues to be a source of tremendous fascination.

The Great Sphinx of Giza

Because its origin and antiquity are hidden in mystery, the magnificent sphinx has remained firm for endless years, serving as a source of inspiration for numerous artists and poets from all over the globe. It is shaped like the sphinx, a legendary monster with the body of a lion and the head of a man, most likely king Khafre, to symbolize strength and knowledge. The sphinx is 73 meters (240 feet) tall and 20 meters (66 feet) wide, and it was carved out of single limestone rock in under three years with the help of around 100 free-trained laborers.

The Valley Temple

The Valley Temple was built during Egypt’s ancient empire and is where the mummification method was used to obtain immortality (2686 2134 BC). It is one of the best-preserved archaeological sites and has a wealth of knowledge on ancient Egyptian mummification.

Lunch will be provided at the Nile View restaurant at the Pyramids, followed by a visit to:

The Egyptian Museum

The Egyptian Museum not only retains the enthralling beauty of ancient Egypt, but it also has the world’s largest collection of rare ancient Egyptian artifacts and monuments, stretching back over 4500 years and spanning the whole history of ancient Egypt.

Inside the two-story structure are over 120,000 artifacts ranging from extravagant materials such as gold and gemstones to everyday materials such as wood or stone in the form of statues, funerary objects, and supplies such as King Tutankhamun’s treasures, the Narmer palette, Papyrus, as well as a number of displayed mummies and countless others.

After that, you’ll be transferred to Cairo airport to take your trip to Aswan, where you’ll check into your 5* luxury Nile cruise for the night.

Day Three: Let Yourself Be Enticed by Aswan’s Attractions

Aboard the third day of your Easter holiday, you will have breakfast on the boat and then accompany your Egyptologist tour guide to experience Aswan’s famous sites, beginning with:

High Dam of Aswan

The Aswan High Dam, which was built between 1960 and 1970, is Aswan’s sole contemporary attraction.

The dam was built in collaboration with the Moscow-based Hydro Project Institute to improve Nile flooding management, generate hydroelectricity, and boost water storage for agriculture in its reservoir lake Nasser.

The Unfinished Obelisk

Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) had an incomplete obelisk placed at the entrance to the Karnak temple. It was called “Tekhenu,” which means “to pierce the sky,” and it was significant because it demonstrated how Obelisks were constructed. It was 42 meters tall and weighed 1200 tons. Unfortunately, the obelisk was shattered during construction and has remained in place to this day.

Temple of Philae

In the “Myth of Osiris,” in which Osiris, the husband of Isis, is killed by his brother Set, the god of the desert of chaos, out of pure hatred and envy, and then Osiris is resurrected to be the ruler of the underworld, after which Set is defeated by Hours, the sky god, the son of Isis and Osiris, ushering in an age of peace, prosperity, and justice is depicted on the walls of Philea

You’ll be staying on board for the night.

Day 4: Visit the temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu

You’ll have your breakfast and then go to:

Temple of Kom Ombo

Between 205 BC and 180 BC, the Greco-Roman era saw the construction of the Kom Ombo Temple, often known as “The Hill of Gold.”

The temple’s one-of-a-kind design is split between two identical sections, one for the crocodile deity Sobek and the other for the falcon sky god Horus. You will continue sailing till you get at:

Edfu Temple

Edfu Temple was one of the final temples erected in ancient Egypt, between 237 BC and 57 BC, to serve as the official worship home of the sky falcon deity Horus. According to Osiris Myth, it was erected on the same site where the battle between the demon god Set and Horus took place.

The Edfu temple was discovered in 1860 by Auguste Mariette, a French Egyptologist. The architecture and interior of the Edfu temple are stunning, combining Greek and Egyptian styles to perfection.

You’ll keep sailing until you reach Luxor, where you’ll arrive late at night and spend the night on board.

Day 5: Immerse yourself in Egyptian history at the Pharaohs’ capital.

After breakfast, you will be joined by your tour guide and a private air-conditioned car to begin a new leg of your Egyptian Easter trip by seeing some of the main Luxor tourist sites, including:

The Kings’ Valley

The Valley of the Kings is a staircase to heaven that has served as the ultimate resting place for Egypt’s greatest kings and queens (1570-1070 BC). It has 63 tombs with enchanted riches, artifacts, sculptures, hypnotic decorations, and the bones of pharaohs such as Rameses I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, IX, X, and the legendary boy-king Tutankhamun.

Due to its historical importance and beauty, UNESCO designated the valley as a World Heritage Site in 1979.

Temple of Hatshepsut

Hatshepsut Temple is a superb example of allure and class; it was known as Djoser-Djeseru (Holy of Holies) and reflects the majesty of the new kingdom as well as the vision of Queen Hatshepsut, one of ancient Egypt’s most successful and powerful rulers. It was built in 1479 BC and took 15 years to complete.

The temple’s architecture is based on the notion of Classical Architecture, with three floors connected by two broad ramps in the center. It houses some of Luxor’s most magnificent sculptures, antiquities, and monuments.

After lunch at a fantastic restaurant in Luxor, join your tour guide for a visit to:

Memnon’s Colossi

The Colossi of Memnon are two huge pieces of quartzite sandstone that rise 18 meters (60 feet) tall and weigh 720 tons apiece. They are shaped like Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386-1350). After being devastated by a massive earthquake in 27 BC, the Colossi were rebuilt in 199 AD. The Vocal Memnon, which arose from the sculptures generating a singing voice from time to time at dawn, was quite renowned throughout the Greco-Roman period. It was nothing more than the sound of the wind blowing through the statue.

Karnak Temple

Karnak Temple is one of the holiest destinations on the planet, as well as one of the world’s biggest religious man-made structures. It was also known as Pr-Imn House Of Amon and Ipet-isu The Most Selected Of Places.

It dates back over 4000 years and served as the center of religious worship for the entire ancient Egyptian kingdom for over 1500 years, dedicated primarily to the Theban triad, which included God Amun, his wife the Goddess of Justice Mut, and his son the moon god Khnsou, as well as other gods such as the great Osiris, Montu, Ptah, and Isis.

Finally, a private air-conditioned car will transport you to a 5* hotel in Hurghada for the night before continuing your 8-day Egypt Easter vacation.

Day 6: Take a trip to Hurghada’s desert.

Day six will be spent in Hurghada, Egypt, where you will have breakfast before embarking on a fantastic super Safari tour by quad and a delectable B.B.Q dinner before returning to your Hurghada hotel for the night.

Day Seven: A Red Sea Snorkeling Adventure

On the seventh day of your Easter adventure, you will have breakfast and check out of your Hurghada hotel, then meet your private driving instructor to begin your thrilling activities such as snorkeling and diving, before being transferred to the airport to catch your aircraft to Cairo for the night.

September 28, 2024

Wonderful tour with the guide Hamada. I did not feel rushed at all, he explained a lot of facts about the city, the mosque , the water storage room, and also brought me to no hassle shops. He picked a great place to eat and have Turkish coffee and a cold lemon mint drink. We took a took took when we got tired from walking. He also happens to be a great photographer and helped take beautiful pictures. Overall a wonderful tour and great experience.
