First, discover the sacred Giza Pyramids Complex. Ancient Egyptians built this site during the Old Kingdom (2686 – 2134 BC). They believed it was their key to the heavens. The complex features the three Great Pyramids, six smaller pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple.

The Great Pyramid of Khufu: An Ancient Wonder

Behold the Great Pyramid of Giza. It is Pharaoh Khufu’s immortal legacy (2609 BC – 2584 BC). This pyramid served as his entrance to paradise. It stands as the only surviving Wonder of the Ancient World. Its advanced architecture, designed by Vizier Hemiunu, rises 147 meters. Builders used 2.3 million limestone blocks.
