Giza Pyramids Complex

Egypt holds some of human history’s largest monuments. Specifically, the Giza Pyramids Complex features three massive pyramids, the Sphinx, the Valley Temple, and six smaller pyramids. These ruins have stood for over 4,500 years.

This structure served as the ultimate resting place for Pharaoh Khufu. It also features unusual inner architecture. In addition, the Great Pyramid of Giza is the only one of the ancient world’s seven marvels that still survives.
  • Sphinx of Giza: The Sphinx is the world’s oldest statue. It stands long and wide. It depicts King Khafre with a man’s head and a seated lion’s body.
