Tour Itinerary

Day One: Arrival in Egypt – Begin your 6 Days Cheap Holiday

Our “Egypt Fun Tours” staff member will be waiting for you at your arrival gate to assist you with all of your passport control requirements and baggage identification and carry. Your 6 Days Cheap Holiday will begin the minute you arrive at Cairo Airport. You will be picked up from the airport and driven to your 5* hotel reservation in a private air-conditioned vehicle. In the evening, your Egypt cheap tour package will begin with a dinner cruise on the one and only Nile River, followed by a colorful belly dancing show with a folklore band that includes an amazing Tannoura spin in keeping with Egypt’s whirling dervishes’ tradition. After the show, you will return to your hotel for the night.

Day 2: In Cairo, discover the wealth of ancient relics.

After breakfast, you’ll meet up with your own tour guide to begin your Egypt 6 Days Cheap Vacation by touring the world’s most famous ancient monument, the Giza Pyramids:

Giza Pyramids Complex

The complex has been standing for 4000 years, making it one of the world’s oldest complete monuments. The Giza complex includes three major pyramids, six smaller pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple, which houses the afterlife.

The Great Pyramid of Giza

Within the compound, the Great Pyramid of Khufu will be your first stop. It is one of the world’s largest constructions and the final surviving structure of the Ancient World’s Seven Wonders. The building dates back to 2580 BC, making it more than 4500 years old. It took 20 years to construct, using 2,300,000 2.5-ton limestone stones and a staff of 100,000 unpaid skilled craftsmen. Its height of 147 meters (481 feet) rendered it the world’s tallest structure for 3800 years, until the completion of Lincoln Cathedral in England in 1311. Due to its complicated interior relative to its scale, the pyramid has been surrounded by riddles and fringe ideas for millennia.

The Great Sphinx of Giza

The Great Sphinx has a unique position among Egypt’s and probably the world’s antiquities. Due to its antiquity, size, and shady provenance, it is one-of-a-kind. The Sphinx was cut out of single limestone rock and is 73 meters (240 feet) tall and 19 meters (66 feet) wide. It is shaped like the Sphinx, a mythological monster with the body of a lion and the head of a man, King Khafre, to signify knowledge and force. It is known in Egypt as Abu Al-Hawl, which means “Father of Terror” in Arabic.

The Valley Temple

The Mummification procedure was carried out in the Valley Temple. The valley was built during the reign of the previous kingdom (2686 and 2134 BC). It is one of the best-preserved buildings of ancient Egyptian culture and a wealth of knowledge about Ancient Egyptian mummification. The Valley is largely built of limestone and granite, with exquisite diorite sculptures of King Khafre adorning it.

After that, go to a local Cairo restaurant for lunch. After that, we’ll go to see:

Step Pyramid of Saqqara

In 2700 BC, the Saqqara Step Pyramid was one of the earliest Pyramids ever built in Egypt, and it was the Pyramid that began everything circling Pyramids creation golden period of Ancient Egypt. It was constructed by the famed Imhotep, Pharaoh Djoser’s vizier. The pyramid, which is built completely of limestone and rises at a height of 62 meters, has a unique six-step design and is encircled by a one-of-a-kind complex.

Memphis City

Memphis was the first formal capital of Ancient Egypt, founded by King Menes to be the lifeblood of the two regions after Egypt’s union 4500 years ago. It was known as the Land of Endurance and Beauty, as well as the headquarters of the deity Ptah’s authority, commerce, and art (The Patron of Craftsmen). Memphis was home to the enormous temple of Hut-Ka-Ptah, which means (Enclosure of the Ka of Ptah) in Egyptian and was translated into Greek as Ai-Gy-Ptos, which is the etymological basis of the term Egypt.

Finally, we return you to your hotel for the night.

Day Three: Let Your Spirit Soar with Aswan’s Allure

Day three of your Egypt budget vacation package begins early in the morning with breakfast and check-out from the hotel, followed by transport to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. Meet your private Egyptologist tour guide upon arrival, then go to the Aswan sites, beginning with:

The High Dam

The High Dam, which was built between 1960 and 1970 under the rule of Gamal Adel-Nasser, reflects the contemporary essence of Luxor. The dam was built in collaboration with the Moscow-based Hydro Project Institute to improve Nile flood management, generate hydroelectricity, and offer more water storage for agriculture in its reservoir lake Nasser.

The Unfinished Obelisk

The Obelisk is a monument worth seeing; it was built by Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) to stand at the entrance of the Karnak temple alongside the Lateran Obelisk, which is now housed in the Lateran palace in Rome; however, the Obelisk was cracked during construction and remains there to this day; it stood 42 meters tall and weighed 1200 tonnes.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Aswan, and your day will be rounded up with a special visit to:

Temple of Philae

The “Myth of Osiris” on the temple walls tells the story of Isis’ husband “Osiris” being killed by his evil brother “Set” out of pure hatred and envy, then Osiris is resurrected to be the ruler of the underworld, then Set is defeated by Isis and Osiris Son Hours the sky God in a fierce battle at the temple of Edfu.

Check into a 5* hotel in Aswan and stay the night.

Day Four: With Luxor, gaze in awe at the Egyptian Gems.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and meet your private tour guide for a train ride to Luxor. Continue your Egypt highlights inexpensive vacation by taking a trip to:

The Kings’ Valley

The Valley of the Kings is unique in that it is located deep inside a mountain and serves as the ultimate resting place for Egypt’s greatest kings and queens (1570-1070 BC). Because of the many stunning decorations and spectacular artifacts, UNESCO designated the valley as a World Heritage Site in 1979. It has 63 tombs with enchanted objects, sculptures, hypnotic decorations, and the bones of pharaohs like as Rameses I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, IX, IX, X, Amenhotep I, Hatshepsut, and the legendary boy-king Tutankhamun.

Temple of Hatshepsut

Temple of Hatshepsut Djeser-Djeseru (Holy of Holies) is the most authentic example of ancient Egyptian civilization’s beauty; it depicts the grandeur of the new kingdom (1550-1070 BC), Hatshepsut’s devotion to Amun, and the eminence and attractiveness of one of Ancient Egypt’s most successful rulers, Queen Hatshepsut. It was constructed in 1479 BC to accommodate the deity Amun.

Memnon’s Colossi

The Colossi of Memnon are the giant guards of Luxor, and they are made up of two pieces of quartzite sandstone, each weighing 720 tonnes and shaped like Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386-1350). A huge earthquake in 27 BC wrecked the colossi, but they were reconstructed around 199 AD. During the Greco-Roman era, the sculptures were renowned for a phenomenon known as The Vocal Memnon, which was caused by the statues producing a sinning sound from time to time at daybreak, which was nothing more than the sound of the wind blowing through the statue.

Then go to an island for lunch, so your tour includes a Nile River boat ride followed by a visit to:

Karnak Temple

The Karnak temple, which was known as Ipet-isu The Most Selected Of Locations, and Pr-Imn House Of Amon, is the holiest of all the places in Luxor and arguably the world. It is one of the world’s largest open-air museums. It is the world’s biggest religious man-made structure, dating back over 4000 years and serving as the center of the ancient Egyptian kingdom’s religious traditions for about 1500 years.

Then spend the night in Luxor at a 5* hotel.

Day 5: In Old Cairo, let your inner explorer loose.

Enjoy breakfast and check out of the hotel in the morning, then go to Luxor airport for a trip to Cairo. Meet your tour guide when you arrive in Cairo, and finish your adventure at the Egyptian Museum and Coptic and Islamic monuments in ancient Cairo:

The Egyptian Museum

The Egyptian Museum in Egypt’s mystical book contains all of the country’s secrets, marvels, and mysteries. It is one of the world’s largest museums, housing a lot of captivating items and monuments dating back over 4000 years from all eras of Egyptian history.

Lunch will be provided at a local Cairo restaurant before visiting:

Citadel of Salah El Din

Salah El Din Citadel, also known as Salah El Din Citadel, is a fortress in Salah El Din, Egypt. For centuries, the Cairo Citadel has stood tall and guarded the city. Since its completion in 1182 AD by the renowned pharaoh Salah El-Din, it has provided a panoramic view of Cairo. It functioned as the kingdom’s headquarters and a formidable fortification against the Crusaders and Napoleon’s French invasion, and it served as the government’s headquarters for more than 700 years in the 19th century.

Mohamed Ali Mosque

Because of the significant use of marble, Mohamed Ali Mosque is known as “The Alabaster Mosque.” It was built as a duplicate of Istanbul’s blue mosque between 1830 and 1848 AD and serves as a symbol of independence and freedom from the Ottoman Empire. With its Ottoman-style building with French rococo influences and a large spectacular dome, the mosque is extremely fascinating.

The Egyptian Civilization National Museum

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is able to clearly display all of Egypt’s hidden 3-and intangible treasures, providing visitors from all over the globe with the wonderful sight of the most beautiful items dating back over 4000 years of diversified history and culture.

Then go to one of the Middle East’s oldest bazaars:

Bazaar of Khan El Khalili

What People Say About Us

Thank you Egypt Fun Tours for a most memorable trip. I admit I didn’t do any of the planning (it was all done by my boyfriend) but as you can read in the reviews below Hani (the owner of Egypt Fun Tours) is superbly organized and accommodating with scheduling.

My boyfriend and I, and our dearest mutual friend, booked the 7Days-6Nights tour. In short time, we visited Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor sailing down the down the Nile, pit stopping to see key sites at these location – and so much more!!! We got to know the ancient and modern egypt in depth thanks to Hani’s impressive knowledge. He also enlightened us on the people and their beliefs and went as far as showing us what a typical life looks like. I cannot express the level of personalized service Hani offered us. He was flexible to adapt to our requirements and added sites to our schedule that was not part of the tour simply to ensure we were 100% satisfied with our experience in Egypt.

I went to Egypt practically blind-folded, not knowing what to expect, especially considering the time we had decided to go (December 2020 – we were the first group that Hani met with after months of having to put his tour agency on hold considering the pandemic) yet he managed to surpass all of our expectations. I felt so incredibly lucky for us to have stumbled on Hani. I would recommend Egypt Fun Tours to anyone and everyone. It was truly, HANDS DOWN, the best cultural experience I’ve ever had. You’ll be in the best of hands.

Hamada was incredible! So knowledgeable and kind. He had information about every item, street corner, and relic we looked at. Any questions we had, he had answers! He even made sure to give us tips while walking through the crowds so that’s we would feel more comfortable when being approached by vendors. Oh and the food?! He took us to the best places! Delicious food!! We tried Egyptian fried chicken, falafel for the first time, the best shawarma in the city (we love food). We even got to meet his beautiful wife and children and try some “French” Egyptian coffee in their home! Truly made friends for life!! We’ve promised to host him and the family when they travel to America for the first time! Such an incredible experience, and Hamada (and family) made it that much more memorable and amazing!

Excellent trip to historic sites with no one else around. We came to see Egypt while most places still had COVID19 fears. The staff at Egypt Fun Tours were professional, safe, and great to deal with. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and entertaining. I feel like I just got a a year of Egyptology in the last week and we had all the sites to ourselves due to COVID19. While people are shutting down and staying home you should feel safe to come explore with Egypt Fun Tours and have the place to yourself.
