Wonderful Trip to Luxor And Abydos from Safaga

Discover the secrets of ancient Egypt while exploring the stunning wonders of Luxor and Abydos from Safaga port. This tour package features the iconic sites of Luxor and the amazing temple at Abydos. Wonderful trip to Luxor and Abydos from Safaga for 2 days to discover the ancient wonders of Egypt. Take a two-day excursion to view the most impressive sites in the pharaonic realm. Explore the magnificent Luxor sites, including the Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon, the Karnak Temple, and the fascinating Dendera and revered Abydos Temple. Don’t pass up this chance; make a reservation right away!

Day 1: Visit Dendera and the Abydos Temple:

A private, air-conditioned car will pick you up at your cruise’s departure door in Safaga Port. You’ll then join your highly certified tour guide to visit the following:

Dendera Temple

This is one of the best-preserved and most beautiful temples, with construction beginning in 54 BC under Ptolemy VII and Cleopatra, and finishing in 20 BC during Roman rule. The ancient Egyptians dedicated it to Hathor, their goddess of love, fertility, and music, along with other Egyptian gods.

Temple of Abydos

Dedicated to Seti I, this temple became a pilgrimage site for ancient Egyptians who sought burial near Osiris’s spectacular tomb at Abydos. They founded it more than 3000 years ago and dedicated it to Seti I. We’ll then take you to Luxor for lunch at a fantastic restaurant before you check into a 5-star hotel for the night.

Day 2: Visit Luxor Attractions:

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be accompanied by your personal tour guide to the following locations:

The Kings’ Valley

The Valley of the Monarchs contains more than 60 burial chambers for the brilliant kings of the 18th and 19th dynasties, as well as their family members and renowned nobles.

Temple of Hatshepsut

Hatshepsut Temple is dedicated to the Great Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s sole female pharaoh and one of Egypt’s most famous and successful monarchs. Her reign was one of the most prosperous periods in terms of trade, economy, and construction, which is why her funerary temple was one of the best-preserved colossal structures.

Memnon’s Colossi

Luxor’s gateway was adorned with two magnificent Amenhotep III twin sculptures. Each of the two statues stands at a height of 60 feet. After that, you’ll go to a good restaurant for lunch, and then you’ll go to the museum.

Karnak Temple

It stands on the east bank of the Nile River and dates from 2055 BC. It comprises a variety of chapels, temples, and other structures. Its builders primarily constructed it as a religious temple dedicated to the gods Amun, Khonsu, and Mut. We will conclude your two-day vacation by taking you back to your ship in Safaga Port.

Pyramids in the Mist, Egypt Adventure

Our long drive from Cairo turned into a terrifying flight through Alexandria’s impossibly crowded streets. Our minivan miraculously avoided hitting pedestrians, donkey carts, and old Lada cars. We arrived at the port gates with only 10 minutes to spare. But the guards ignored our U.S. passports, and they refused to
