Wadi El Hitan Tour itinerary

Pickup at the preferred location in Cairo or Giza will mark the beginning of your desert adventure. Take an air-conditioned car to the stunning Wadi El Hitan Fayoum.

When you get to the desert, take a stroll about and take in the breathtaking views of the valley. Wadi El Hitan is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and you can see by the stunningly old whale fossils here why its name translates to “Valley of Whales.”

From your knowledgeable guide, learn about the crucial phases of development. Try to locate the typical wild creatures that are local to this region, such as the African wildcat and the Egyptian mongoose, as you traverse the magnificent Egyptian Sahara.

Then, spend around 1.5 hours driving up and down the dunes in a 4×4 vehicle to satisfy your need for excitement. Next, try some sandboarding for the ultimate rush. To do this, fasten the board to your feet and quickly slide down from the edge of the dune.

After that, have a leisurely camel ride and peacefully observe the desert vistas. Hold on to the camel while you take in the beautiful, untamed desert panorama that seems like it was painted by the skies.

After that, go to the Bedouin camp and have a tantalizing BBQ meal. Finish your safari and be dropped off at the place of your choice, Cairo or Giza, where you can have the most exciting and memorable experiences.
