Historical Vacation Package Itinerary

1st day: Welcome to Egypt

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our representative will assist you with airport formalities and take you to your hotel in a private AC car. In the evening, enjoy a memorable dinner cruise featuring traditional performances, an open buffet, and fascinating tales of Ancient Egypt. After the cruise, return to your hotel for a restful night.

2nd day: Memphis and The Pyramids

Start your day with breakfast before your private tour guide picks you up for a trip to Giza, where you’ll see:

  • The Great Pyramid of Khufu: One of the Seven Wonders of the World, renowned for its size and historical significance.
  • The Great Sphinx: Constructed during Khafre’s rule to protect the Giza pyramid complex.
  • The Valley Temple: Used for mummification and purification of kings and queens.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before visiting:

  • Step Pyramid of Saqqara: The first pyramid was built for King Djoser.

3rd day: Alexandria Highlights

Day 4: Fly to Aswan

After breakfast, check out and head to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, enjoy a private tour of:

  • Aswan High Dam: A crucial structure for Egypt’s economy and energy supply.
  • Unfinished Obelisk: An intriguing ancient obelisk left incomplete.
  • Temple of Philae: An important temple dedicated to the goddess Isis, relocated to Agilikia Island for preservation.

Have lunch at a great restaurant and then check in to your hotel in Aswan for the night.

5th day: Abu Simbel Temples

Early morning, receive your breakfast boxes before departing for Abu Simbel. Upon arrival, explore:

  • Abu Simbel Temples: Two massive rock temples built by Ramses II, were relocated in 1968 to avoid flooding from Lake Nasser.

After your tour, return to Aswan for lunch at a local restaurant and spend the night at your hotel.

6th day: Travel to Luxor and Explore the East Bank

After breakfast and checkout from your Aswan hotel, you’ll take a first-class train to Luxor. Upon arrival, your private tour guide will take you to the Temple of Karnak, the largest religious temple in the world, featuring three magnificent temples dedicated to Amun, Mut, and Khunso. After lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll check into your five-star hotel. In the evening, visit the Luxor Temple, built around 1400 BC, known for its royal restoration significance.

7th day: Discover Luxor’s West Bank

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before heading to the Valley of the Kings, where you can explore the tombs of famous pharaohs like Tutankhamun and Seti I. Next, visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, a remarkable structure built by the legendary queen, followed by the Colossi of Memnon, twin statues of King Amenhotep III. 8th day: Continue Your Luxor Adventure

After breakfast, your guide will take you to the Valley of the Queens, home to the tomb of Queen Nefertari, and the Temple of Habu, Ramses III’s mortuary temple. 9th day: Visit Dendera and Abydos

Start your day with breakfast before visiting the Temple at Dendera, known for its vast size and historical significance. Then, explore the Temple of Abydos, dedicated to Seti I and a major site for the worship of Isis. After lunch at a local restaurant, return to your hotel in Luxor for the night.

10th day: Return to Cairo and Explore Old Cairo

After breakfast and checkout, fly back to Cairo. Join your Egyptologist for a tour of the Egyptian Museum, home to countless artifacts, including King Tut’s death mask. Enjoy lunch before visiting the Hanging Church, the Mosque of Amr Ibn Al Aas, and the Synagogue of Ben Ezra. Conclude your day at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization and shop at the Khan El Khalili market before returning to your hotel.

Last day: Departure
