4-Day Egypt Group Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Aswan Legendary Attractions – Sail to Kom Ombo

Morning: The group will meet with their tour guide to explore Aswan’s monuments, starting with:
- Aswan High Dam: This engineering marvel marked Egypt’s entry into the industrial age, harnessing the waters of Lake Nasser to generate electricity.
- Unfinished Obelisk: This open-air museum piece, associated with Queen Hatshepsut (1507 – 1458 BC), showcases her ambitious plans that were interrupted during construction.
- Philae Temple: Built in the 7th century BC, this temple was dedicated to Isis, the goddess of motherhood, featuring stunning scenes that depict the myth of Osiris.
Afternoon: The group will embark on their 5-star Nile Cruise for lunch and dinner, followed by an overnight stay on board.

Day 2: Edfu & Kom Ombo Tour – Sail to Luxor

Morning: Breakfast will be served on the Nile Cruise before heading out with the tour guide to visit:
- Kom Ombo Temple: This unique double temple, constructed during the Ptolemaic era (180 BC – 47 BC), honors the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroeris, with carvings that reveal insights into the ancient Egyptian calendar and medical practices.
- Edfu Temple: Dedicated to the falcon god Horus, this temple represents divine protection and victory. Built between 237 BC and 57 BC, it features inscriptions and carvings reflecting Hellenistic religious, mythological, and linguistic elements.
Afternoon: Return to the Nile Cruise for lunch and dinner, followed by another overnight stay on board.

Day 3: Visit the Heavenly Wonders of Luxor

- Hatshepsut Temple: An architectural masterpiece from the 15th century BC, this temple honors Hatshepsut’s achievements and her devotion to Amun, the creator god.
- Colossi of Memnon: These twin statues, constructed for Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386 – 1350 BC), symbolize endurance and power.
- Karnak Temple: Spanning 1700 years, this vast temple complex served as a hub for religious activities, featuring the Great Hypostyle Hall, several precincts dedicated to Amun-Re and Mut, and the avenue of the sphinxes.

Amazing tour to the pyramids of Sakkara and Dahshur

This week we had a great tour with Mohamed to the pyramids of Sakkara and Dahshur as well as Memphis. He tailored the tour to our preferences, took a lot of time with us and gave us detailed background information on everything. It was also great that he never tired of taking the time to answer our many questions.

You can definitely tell that he has studied Egyptology as he has a very deep understanding of the subject and can explain everything well. He also speaks perfect English and is really good driver.

We would definitely book a tour with him again in a heartbeat and would recommend him to anyone. 🙂

Several weeks ago, I reached out to Egypt Fun Tours regarding a 9-hour layover in Cairo. From the very beginning, Hani Ahmed was responsive and professional, quickly providing a well-organized itinerary tailored to our limited time. The itinerary included a visit to the pyramids, other historical sites, a delicious dinner, and even a quick stop for souvenir shopping.

Upon arrival, Gilman efficiently assisted us in obtaining our day tourist visas (note: $25 per person in cash). She then introduced us to our guide, Mydo, who was absolutely phenomenal! Mydo’s knowledge, friendly demeanor, and ability to adjust the tour to our pace made the experience unforgettable.

We returned to the airport with plenty of time to relax before our flight. The entire experience was smooth, stress-free, and incredibly memorable.
