Tour Itinerary

Detailed itinerary of the 13 Days Egypt Tour of Culture & Beach

Day 1: Welcome to our Wonderful Country: You will be met, welcomed, and helped by our official representative from “Egypt Fun Tours” at Cairo Airport as you arrive in the land of the pharaohs. Your private tour guide will transport you to a five-star hotel in a luxurious air-conditioned car after the formalities have been completed and your baggage has been identified to ensure a smooth check-in.

Relax at the hotel until you’re ready to take your first steps in Egypt at night. While you’re there, enjoy the best special dinner meal overlooking the Nile River in a very ideal atmosphere, have a thorough discussion about Egypt with your knowledgeable tour guide, and take in some local performances like belly dancing and folklore concerts before going back to your hotel for the night.

Day 2: Visit Saqqara and the Giza Pyramids: After breakfast, get ready for a full day of non-stop activities with one of our knowledgeable tour guides to explore the greatest historical sites in Cairo, such as:

Giza Pyramids Complex: The Giza Pyramids are the first picture that comes to mind when Egypt is spoken, which is why they have come to represent Egypt. This renowned historical location was built under the rule of the 4th dynasty, and millions of tourists visiting Egypt continue to be awed by this magnificent landmark.

The Great Pyramid: Three renowned, enormous pyramids, known as the Giza Plateau, are well-known. The highest building in ancient times still has a particular place in history thanks to the Great Pyramid of King Cheops. It will be even more remarkable to realize that the Great Pyramid, which served as both Pharaoh Cheops’s last resting place and a secure storage facility for his magnificent goods, is made up of more than 2,300,000 stone blocks.

The Great Sphinx: The Great Sphinx is the other well-known structure on the Giza Plateau. The biggest representation of the Giza Plateau is believed to be a monument of Pharaoh Chephren. Since the monument is formed like a human head lion as a metaphor for power and knowledge, the terrified Sphinx got its notoriety as a result of its unusual construction.

The Valley Temple: One of the best-preserved colossal components of the Giza Pyramids Complex is said to be the Valley Temple. It was first built as a funerary temple for Pharaoh Cheops and his family, after which it developed into one of the most well-known places for purification and mummification in Ancient Egypt. This was done to prepare the king’s mummy for the afterlife.

after a fantastic meal and a little rest in an upscale Egyptian restaurant, go to:

Step Pyramid of Saqqara: A trip to Giza would be incomplete without taking in the first Egyptian pyramid ever constructed. The Saqqara Step Pyramid, which was built during the third dynasty, is one of King Djoser’s most impressive works of art. This 203-foot-tall stepping-stone structure has six wonderful tiers.

The Ancient City of Memphis: When Ptah was revered and Egypt was ruled by the Old Kingdom, Memphis City functioned as the nation’s capital. Because the king’s palace was constructed of bleached stones, this imperial city was also known as the “White Wall.” It was formerly believed that “Memphis” was a Greek term that translated to “Men-Nefer” in the ancient Egyptian language, which stood for steady and lovely.

You’ll be taken to the hotel where you’ll spend the night.

Day 3: Fly to Aswan and see the city’s top attractions: After breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken to the airport to catch a flight to Aswan, where your private tour guide will meet you to show you around the most important historical sites in the Nubian city, including:

The High Dam: The Aswan High Dam is merely one of President Gamal Abdul Nasser’s most notable projects and is a fascinating technical achievement. The project, which began in 1960 and was around 12,500 feet broad, was finished in 1971 and was in charge of producing over half of the nation’s power.

The Unfinished Obelisk: The incomplete obelisk, which was cut from red granite, is the largest obelisk ever built in Ancient Egypt. This massive monument was 140 feet long and had never been finished due to a fault in the granite that was discovered after construction was abandoned.

After enjoying a fantastic lunch at a reputable restaurant along the Nile, go to:

Temple of Philae: The Philae Temple, one of Agilika Island’s most spectacular temples, is presently standing. During the Ptolemaic Period, the temple became the primary place of devotion for the goddess Isis.

Register at a five-star hotel to spend the night in Aswan.

Day 4: Visit Abu Simbel: After receiving your breakfast boxes, your knowledgeable tour guide will take you for around three hours to Abu Simbel, where you may learn:

Abu Simbel Temples: Without seeing the Abu Simbel Temple, no Aswan visit is complete. The major example of the splendor of ancient Egyptian architecture, Abu Simbel is one of the most remarkable structures in Egyptian history. The temple is comprised of two twin temples that were impressively carved into the mountains during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II. One of the secondary temples was built in memory of the king’s inspirational queen Nefertari, while the other was the primary temple.

After lunch at a top-notch eatery, go back to Aswan and check into your hotel for the night.

Day 5: A visit to Luxor’s East Bank: In Aswan, breakfast You will then depart the hotel and board a first-class train for Luxor, where you will meet an outstanding tour guide and see the most well-known monuments on the east bank of the Nile, including:

Temple of Karnak: The largest structure ever built by humans, Karnak Temple, will be the first stop in Luxor. This location, which spans 247 acres and has three major structures, is unusual. Its distinctiveness stems not just from its enormous size but also from the very unusual wall decorations and drawings that it displays. The biggest religious site, Karnak was primarily built for Amun, Khonsu, and Mut worship.

After checking into a 5* hotel, go to a really fine restaurant for lunch. Prepare yourself to have fun in the evening by:

Temple of Luxor at Night: The Temple of Luxor, which is located in the center of Luxor City and is known as the largest outdoor museum in the world, is a reminder of ancient Egyptian civilization. Unlike the other temples in the city, Luxor Temple was built to revive royalty rather than to worship a deity or a historical person.

Returning to your hotel will allow you to spend the night in Luxor.

Day 6: A trip to Thebes’ West Bank: Join your tour guide to view the must-see sights on the west bank of Luxor after finishing your hotel breakfast. Start by:

Temple of Hatshepsut: The only female pharaoh in Egyptian history, Queen Hatshepsut is regarded as one of the most successful pharaohs of ancient Egypt. Her funerary temple, which honors all of her outstanding deeds on its walls, was one of many successes during her calm and successful reign that saw a broad range of other accomplishments.

The Kings’ Valley: The tombs of the pharaohs of dynasties 17, 18, and 19 in ancient Egypt may be found there. One of the most amazing monuments in the Valley of the Kings has 63 royal tombs, the majority of which were built for pharaohs and other aristocracy.

For your trip to include a boat ride on the Nile, enjoy a delicious lunch on an island. then proceed to observe:

Memnon’s Colossi: The guards of Amenhotep III’s Mortuary Temple are the fabled Colossi of Memnon. The temple, which is made up of two magnificent twin sculptures and is located at Luxor’s entrance, is well-known for its regal aspect.

You’ll return to your hotel and spend the night there.

Day 7: Visit Habu and the Valley of the Queens: Enjoy your breakfast before being driven about Luxor in a private A/C car by your knowledgeable tour guide to see:

The Queens’ Valley: The Valley of the Queens is just a magnificent place where the royal queens, princesses, and aristocracy are buried. The site, which has 90 imperial tombs, is situated on the western bank of the Nile. Because the Ancient Egyptians believed in the afterlife, they built this enormous structure to preserve the queens’ riches, food, and other essentials for the afterlife.

Temple of Habu: Ramses III ordered Medinet Habu, which is a beautiful structure with its pylon and many ancient embellishments that are still in excellent condition. To safeguard the original occupants during times of conflict, Medinet Habu operated as a walled city with a temple and an administrative center within.

We’ll have lunch at a reputable restaurant before going to see:

Deir El-Medina: The best example of an old, well-preserved settlement is “The Workers’ Village,” which is also the home of the artisans who served the monarchs and royal families. While constructing royal tombs like Valley of the Kings, more than 70 families have resided here.

To spend the night, you will be transported to your hotel in Luxor.

Day 8: Visit Dendara and Abydos Temples and then go to Hurghada: Enjoy your breakfast before checking out of the hotel on your eighth day in the land of the pharaohs. You will then be driven by a luxurious A/C car to two of the most amazing temples in ancient Egypt:

Temple at Dendera: The “Temple of Hathor” is situated in Dendara City, which is north of Luxor. Ptolemy XII and Cleopatra II designed and built the Dendara Temple first, and the Romans added the building’s finishing touches. According to popular belief, the temple was primarily built to honor ancient Egyptian deities like the Goddess of Hathor.

Temple of Abydos: The ancient pharaohs considered Abydos to be one of the holiest places, and the majority of them had dreams of going there because they thought the temple served as a gate to the land of the dead. The Great Ramses II finished the Abydos Temple after his father Seti I had planned it and begun the process of building it.

Your lunch will then be provided in a top-notch, well-known restaurant, and at this point, you’ll be driven to Hurghada in a contemporary A/C car to check into a 5-star hotel and spend the night.

Day 9: Hurghada Free day: Enjoy a free day at the beach or by yourself exploring the city.

Day 10: Hurghada Scuba Diving: Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel before being driven on a Scuba Diving expedition with a highly qualified instructor, where you will see the lovely coral reefs and discover the underwater life before being driven back to your hotel.

Day 11: Hurghada safari excursion: Have breakfast at the hotel before setting out on a quad safari to see the magnificent desert life and have a barbecue meal before returning to your hotel.

Day 12: Take in everything that Cairo has to offer: After breakfast, check out of the hotel and take a flight to Cairo, where you will meet your own Egyptologist and learn about some of the top must-see attractions, such as:

The Egyptian Museum: The Egyptian Museum is home to a unique collection of 5000-year-old artifacts that displays more than 250,000 authentic artifacts, including the magnificent exhibition of the great king Tutankhamun in addition to hundreds of other jewels and significant items. Enjoy your lunch at a reputable neighborhood restaurant in the center of Cairo before traveling to:

Citadel of Salah El Din: To defend the city from a Crusader attack, Salah EL Din Ayyubid built the magnificent Cairo Citadel during his rule. The building of the fortress had begun in 1176 AD and was finished in 1182 AD.

Mosque of Mohamed Ali: To construct his alabaster mosque, one of Cairo’s most iconic Islamic monuments, between 1830 and 1848, Muhammed Ali opted to destroy the Mamluks’ structures within the citadel.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization: To completely discover all of Egypt’s cultural and historical treasures, which take the form of unique, captivating artifacts and monuments, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is the miracle that everyone has been waiting for.

Market in Khan El Khalili: You must visit Khan El Khalili Bazaar before leaving Cairo, the oldest bazaar in the Middle East, where you may shop for clothing, trinkets, perfumes, and other items.

Register at a five-star hotel to stay the night.

Day 13: Complete Your 13 Days Egypt Tour of Culture & Beach: After breakfast, you will sadly need to go, and our representative will transport you to Cairo International so you may board your journey to your home country.

What People Say About Us

Thank you Egypt Fun Tours for a most memorable trip. I admit I didn’t do any of the planning (it was all done by my boyfriend) but as you can read in the reviews below Hani (the owner of Egypt Fun Tours) is superbly organized and accommodating with scheduling.

My boyfriend and I, and our dearest mutual friend, booked the 7Days-6Nights tour. In short time, we visited Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor sailing down the down the Nile, pit stopping to see key sites at these location – and so much more!!! We got to know the ancient and modern egypt in depth thanks to Hani’s impressive knowledge. He also enlightened us on the people and their beliefs and went as far as showing us what a typical life looks like. I cannot express the level of personalized service Hani offered us. He was flexible to adapt to our requirements and added sites to our schedule that was not part of the tour simply to ensure we were 100% satisfied with our experience in Egypt.

I went to Egypt practically blind-folded, not knowing what to expect, especially considering the time we had decided to go (December 2020 – we were the first group that Hani met with after months of having to put his tour agency on hold considering the pandemic) yet he managed to surpass all of our expectations. I felt so incredibly lucky for us to have stumbled on Hani. I would recommend Egypt Fun Tours to anyone and everyone. It was truly, HANDS DOWN, the best cultural experience I’ve ever had. You’ll be in the best of hands.

Hamada was incredible! So knowledgeable and kind. He had information about every item, street corner, and relic we looked at. Any questions we had, he had answers! He even made sure to give us tips while walking through the crowds so that’s we would feel more comfortable when being approached by vendors. Oh and the food?! He took us to the best places! Delicious food!! We tried Egyptian fried chicken, falafel for the first time, the best shawarma in the city (we love food). We even got to meet his beautiful wife and children and try some “French” Egyptian coffee in their home! Truly made friends for life!! We’ve promised to host him and the family when they travel to America for the first time! Such an incredible experience, and Hamada (and family) made it that much more memorable and amazing!

Excellent trip to historic sites with no one else around. We came to see Egypt while most places still had COVID19 fears. The staff at Egypt Fun Tours were professional, safe, and great to deal with. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and entertaining. I feel like I just got a a year of Egyptology in the last week and we had all the sites to ourselves due to COVID19. While people are shutting down and staying home you should feel safe to come explore with Egypt Fun Tours and have the place to yourself.
