    • The Great Sphinx of Giza
Next, explore the Great Sphinx, a monumental statue with a lion’s body and a human head, symbolizing strength and wisdom.
    • The Valley Temple
Discover the Valley Temple, used for mummification rituals during Egypt’s Old Kingdom, adorned with diorite statues of King Khafra.
  • Lunch
For lunch, dine at a restaurant overlooking the Pyramids or the Nile.

Day 3: Sailing in Aswan and Seeing Aswan’s Attractions

Start your day with a delicious breakfast on board the boat.
  • Visit the High Dam
Your first stop is the High Dam. Constructed between 1960 and 1970 under Gamal Abdel Nasser’s rule, this engineering marvel enhances Nile flood management, increases water storage for agriculture, and produces hydroelectricity.
  • Explore the Unfinished Obelisk
Next, visit the Unfinished Obelisk. Commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut, this remarkable monument was intended for the Karnak temple entrance but remains abandoned. It measures 42 meters tall and weighs 1,200 tons, showcasing ancient Egyptian construction techniques.
  • Discover the Temple of Philae
Continue to the Temple of Philae. This mythological temple is dedicated to the goddess Isis, representing love and beauty. It narrates the “Myth of Osiris,” where Osiris is killed by his brother and later resurrected. In the 1960s, the temple was relocated to Agilkia Island to protect it from rising waters.
  • Sailing Experience
After your visits, enjoy a relaxing sailing experience as you take in the beautiful scenery along the Nile.
  • Overnight on Board
Spend the night on board your cruise, ready for more adventures.

Fourth Day: Visit the Temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu

  • Temple of Kom Ombo
Begin your day with a visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo, known as “The Hill of Gold.” Built during the Greco-Roman era, this temple has a unique double design, with one side dedicated to the crocodile deity Sobek and the other to the falcon god Horus.
  • Sail to Edfu Temple
After exploring Kom Ombo, continue sailing to Edfu Temple.
  • Explore Edfu Temple
Edfu Temple was dedicated to the sky deity Horus and constructed between 237 BC and 57 BC. It stands on the legendary site of the battle between Set and Horus. Discovered by French Egyptologist Auguste Mariette in 1860, this temple beautifully blends Greek and Egyptian architectural styles.

After breakfast, your tour guide will escort you in a private air-conditioned car to Luxor’s top attractions.
  • Visit the Valley of the Kings
Your first destination is the Valley of the Kings, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It served as the final resting place for Egypt’s most significant rulers (1570-1070 BC) and contains 63 tombs filled with treasures, artifacts, and the remains of famous pharaohs like Ramses II and Tutankhamun.
  • Explore Hatshepsut Temple
Next, visit Hatshepsut Temple, also known as Djeser-Djeseru (Holy of Holies). Constructed around 1479 BC, it reflects the grandeur of the New Kingdom and the vision of Queen Hatshepsut, showcasing stunning sculptures and artwork.
  • Visit Memnon’s Colossi
Continue to the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues standing 18 meters tall, representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Reconstructed after an earthquake in 27 BC, they were famously thought to sing at dawn due to the wind passing through them.
  • Lunch on an Island
Enjoy lunch on an island while taking a scenic Nile River boat ride.
  • Discover Karnak Temple
After lunch, visit Karnak Temple, the largest religious structure in the world. This site has survived the sands of time and was the center of worship for over 1,500 years, dedicated to the Theban triad: God Amun, Goddess Mut, and moon god Khnsou.
