Giza Pyramids Complex

The Giza Pyramids complex is a divine, open-air museum. It holds gigantic treasures dating back to the Old Kingdom (2686–2134 BC). These eternal cosmic wonders include:

The Great Pyramid:

Pharaoh Khufu (2609 BC – 2584 BC) built this everlasting pyramid. He wished to enter the gates of heaven. This colossal masterpiece stands 147 meters high. It uses 2.3 million limestone blocks, weighing 6 million tons in total. It also features an advanced inner design with several great chambers, like the Queen’s chamber, the King’s chamber, the big void, and the grand hall.

The Great Sphinx:

The great Sphinx, also called Horus of the Horizon, is a divine protector. It offers a vision of the royal family’s holy divinity. Pharaoh Khafre (2558 BC – 2532 BC) built it to immortalize his deep wisdom and massive power. Between its huge paws lies the enchanting dream Steele of Thutmose IV, placed there in 1401 BC to tell an exciting tale.

The Valley Temple:

The divine Valley Temple is an ancient gate to immortality. Builders constructed it to prepare the 4th dynasty royal families for mummification. This process helped them stand with the gods of ancient Egyptian Civilization.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, join your private tour guide for more sightseeing.

Saqqara Step Pyramid

The brilliant Imhotep designed the miraculous Saqqara Step Pyramid. It honors the legacy of Pharaoh Djoser (2649 BC – 2611 BC). This greatest construction project in ancient Egyptian history has six steps and stands 62 meters high, featuring a unique complex.

Finally, you will transfer to a 5-star hotel in Cairo. You will check in and spend the night.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Overnight: Cairo Hotel

Day 2: Old Cairo Attractions Tour

Check out after breakfast. Then, join your private tour guide to visit Cairo’s highlights.

Cairo Highlights

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo. Then, proceed to visit:

Salah El Din Citadel:

The mighty Cairo Citadel stands on Cairo’s highest point. It acts as an epic fortress protecting the entire city. Builders constructed it from 1176 to 1182 AD to lead and preserve Cairo’s golden heritage. It contains great works of art and skilled architecture across several majestic museums and mosques.

The Mosque of Mohamed Ali:

Builders constructed the glorious Mosque of Mohamed Ali between 1830 and 1848 AD. It exemplifies the ancient Ottoman Empire, located deep in the heart of the great Cairo Citadel. It earned the title “Alabaster Mosque” because its walls are made of pure alabaster taken from the Giza pyramids’ surface.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC):

The blessed NMEC is a beautiful gem filled with timeless treasures. The NMEC opened in 2017. It displays several ancient collections of artifacts and monuments. It also features the magical hall of mummies, which contains 28 royal kings and queens from ancient Egypt’s long history, showcasing their majestic level of royalty.

Al-Muizz Street:

The heavenly Al-Muizz Street sheds light on the great history of the golden Islamic age, dating back to the 10th century AD in Cairo. This marvelous street, the heart of the city of wonders and minarets, showcases great works of art and architecture. It is filled with fun cafes and genuine cultural gatherings.
