Day 1: Arrival in Egypt / Visit Giza Pyramids:

Egypt Fun Tours will pick you up upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport. Then, you will be assisted through your travel formalities and luggage identification. After that, your professional Egyptologist will escort you by a modern air-conditioned car to visit the best of Cairo, including:

Giza Pyramids Complex:

It’s a famous ancient Egyptian site that witnessed the most precious legacy in history, where the pharaohs of the 4th dynasty established their glorious tombs inside three remarkably structured pyramids. Furthermore, the three prominent pyramids are dedicated to Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure. Among these, the most significant one is the Pyramid of Cheops, due to its very massive size.

The Great Sphinx is a constant representation of wisdom and strength at the Giza Pyramids Complex with a man’s head and a lion’s body. Additionally, it measures 73 meters long and 20 meters high. Furthermore, many myths suggest that the spectacular Sphinx was constructed to serve as the guardian of the Giza Plateau.

You will visit the Valley Temple as the final spot at the Giza Plateau, which Pharaoh Khafre dedicated. Notably, it is one of the best-preserved structures from the Old Kingdom and typically served as a mortuary site for the mummification process. The Saqqara Pyramid is one of the most remarkable monuments of Ancient Egypt, constructed more than 4,000 years ago. Pharaoh Djoser commissioned the Saqqara Step Pyramid during the 3rd dynasty, and he built it as the first step pyramid in the world with the assistance of Imhotep.

Memphis City: A few miles near the timeless Village of Mit-Rahina on the west bank of the Nile, archeologists have discovered the remnants of the best-known pharaonic city named “Memphis” by the Greeks. The city was the home to the royal residence and the headquarters of the northern Vizier and the High Priest of the god Ptah.

Enjoy a tasty lunch at a super quality restaurant then move to visit:

The Pyramids of Dahshur: This wonderful site has two majestic pyramids which were commissioned by King Snefru during the 4th dynasty. The Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid are the best-preserved samples of ancient Egyptian architecture.

Salah El-Din Ayyubid requested the construction of the Salah El-Din Citadel in 1176 AD to fight against the Crusader forces. It stands as the finest example of impressive Islamic architecture. The building had been the seat of the Egyptian government for almost 700 years.

Mohamed Ali Mosque: Visiting Cairo Citadel, you will easily locate “The Alabaster Mosque” or Muhammed Ali Mosque which crowns the Citadel of Salah El-Din. Mohammed Ali built the mosque was built between 1830 and 1848.

I never knew there was a place on earth that contained both Greek and Egyptian carvings in the same tombs! The history and culture of Egypt is so fascinating! AMAZING TOUR, SOLO TRAVELER.

I am a California woman who traveled to Egypt alone and thanks to Egypt Fun Tours I had a great time. Hani, Mohammed, Kamal and David (my driver) were very professional and very knowledgeable, I appreciate how respectful they were and how protective they were with me.

They show me everything I wanted to see in Cairo and nearby places like Saqqara, Memphis, etc. Thanks to them I had a great time in Egypt, they were so so helpful than on my second day they helped me to move from my hotel in Giza to the Steigenberger hotel in downtown Cairo.

The tour price is super good includes a guide (expert in the field) a driver, lunch and drinks, they took me to amazing places for lunch, the food was super super delicious, for a foodie like me that was a highlight. We went out fo the tourist traps and I got to see the Cairo that if you are in a bus tour you will never get to see.

This tour is personalized for each person depending of what you want to see and do, I absolutely love it.

I used WhatsApp to communicate with Hani and arranged all my tours, Hani was super super nice since the moment I contacted him and explained him what I wanted to do and see.

Hani and his group mesmerized me with the tours they put together, this is a memory I will keep for lifetime.

I had only good things to say about them and I highly recommend them.

I did visit the pyramids in Giza, downtown Cairo, new Cairo, several museums, Coptic Cairo and Muslim Cairo with them and I learned a lot from them, I felt like they were family to me and it was EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT.

If I go back to Egypt I will hire them again without hesitation.
