8-Day Guided Egypt Tour Itinerary

1st day: Arrival in Cairo

Arrive in Cairo, where you will be welcomed and assisted by an Egypt Fun Tours representative. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay.

2nd day: Memphis, Sphinx, Giza, & Saqqara Pyramids

After breakfast, meet your private tour guide to explore the Pyramids area, including the Giza Pyramids, Saqqara Pyramids, Memphis, and Dahshur. In the evening, take the sleeper train to Aswan, with dinner served on board.

3rd day: Aswan Sightseeing

Enjoy breakfast on the sleeper train before arriving in Aswan. Begin your tours with a visit to the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk, followed by lunch at a Nubian restaurant. Experience a Felucca ride on the Nile to see the Agha Khan Mausoleum and Elephantine Island. Check in at your Aswan hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Aswan to Luxor

After breakfast, visit the temples of Edfu and Kom Ombo en route to Luxor. Enjoy lunch on the West Bank of the Nile, then tour the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. Check in at your Luxor hotel and see the Luxor Temple at night.

5th day: Dendera & Abydos Day Trip

After breakfast, embark on a trip to the Dendera and Abydos temples. Visit Abydos, the ancient cult center of Osiris, and see the well-preserved paintings in the Osiris Temple. Continue to Dendera to explore the Temple of Hathor before returning to your Luxor hotel.

Day 6: Luxor Temple & Karnak Temple Tours

After breakfast, tour the West Bank of Luxor, including Medinet Habu, the Ramsseum, the Queens’ Valley, and the Tombs of the Nobles. After lunch, visit the Karnak Temples. In the evening, transfer to the Luxor train station for the sleeper train back to Cairo.

Day 7: Cairo Sightseeing

After breakfast on the train, start your Cairo tours with a private guide, visiting the Egyptian Museum, the Citadel of Saladin, and Khan El-Khalili Bazaar. Check in at your Cairo hotel for an overnight stay.

Last day: Departure

After breakfast at your hotel, meet your guide for a transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure, concluding your 8-Day Guided Egypt Tour.
