Day 1: Cairo Arrival
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, an Egypt Fun Tours representative will assist you with all airport formalities, from passport control to luggage claim. Afterward, a private, air-conditioned car will transfer you to your hotel for check-in and an overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 2: Pyramids of Giza & Saqqara
After breakfast, your private guide will take you on a tour of the Giza Pyramids, where you’ll see the Great Pyramid of King Cheops, the pyramids of Kings Chephren and Menkaure, and the iconic Sphinx. You’ll also have the opportunity to enter one of the smaller queen’s pyramids. After an authentic Egyptian lunch at a countryside restaurant, you will explore the Saqqara Pyramids, including the Step Pyramid of King Djoser. The tour also includes a visit to the ancient capital of Memphis. In the evening, you can attend the optional Sound and Light Show at Giza. You will then return to your hotel for the night.
Day 3: Cairo City Tours
Following breakfast, you will embark on a tour of the Egyptian Museum, which houses over 120,000 artifacts, including the incredible treasures of King Tutankhamun. Next, you will delve into the rich heritage of Coptic Cairo, visiting historic sites like the Hanging Church, the Church of Saint Sergius, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. After lunch by the Nile, you will explore Islamic Cairo, including the Citadel of Saladin, the alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali, and the Khan El-Khalili bazaar. You will then return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Journey to El-Minya
Enjoy a free morning after breakfast at your hotel. In the afternoon, you will transfer to the train station for your journey to El-Minya. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel for the night.
Day 5: El-Minya: Beni Hassan
After breakfast, you will start your tour of Beni Hassan. This includes a local Egyptian picnic lunch, offering a taste of authentic local cuisine. You will then return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Tel El-Amarna & Tuna El-Gabal

Day 7: Travel to Luxor

Day 9: Luxor’s East Bank
Following breakfast, you will explore Luxor’s East Bank. This tour includes a visit to the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex and the Luxor Temple.
Day 10: Luxor to Aswan
After breakfast, you will travel to Aswan. Along the way, you will visit two remarkable temples: the Temple of Edfu, which is the second-largest temple in Egypt, and the Greco-Roman double temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to two gods. Upon reaching Aswan, you will check into your hotel.
Day 11: Aswan Sightseeing
After breakfast, your tour of Aswan begins with a visit to the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk. After checking into your hotel, you will take a motorboat to the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Day 12: Abu Simbel & Sleeper Train to Cairo
