Day 1: Aswan Legendary Attractions – Sail to Kom Ombo
Morning: The group will meet with their tour guide to explore Aswan’s monuments, starting with:
Aswan High Dam: This engineering marvel marked Egypt’s entry into the industrial age, harnessing the waters of Lake Nasser to generate electricity.
Unfinished Obelisk: This open-air museum piece, associated with Queen Hatshepsut (1507 – 1458 BC), showcases her ambitious plans that were interrupted during construction.
Philae Temple: Built in the 7th century BC, this temple was dedicated to Isis, the goddess of motherhood, featuring stunning scenes that depict the myth of Osiris.
