The Great Pyramid

The Great Pyramid belonged to King Khufu. It is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids and the only surviving wonder of the ancient world. Standing at 147 meters tall, it was built with 2,300,000 stones and took twenty years to complete.

Sphinx

The Great Sphinx is the largest statue in the world, measuring 73 meters long, 19 meters wide, and 20 meters tall. It was created for King Chephren and is the oldest monumental sculpture.

The Temple of the Valley

This granite funerary temple was used by ancient Egyptians for mummification on the Giza plateau. After lunch at a luxurious restaurant with views of the Pyramids or the Nile, conclude your day with a visit to:

Step Pyramid of Saqqara

Dating back to the 27th century B.C., it is considered the first large-scale cut-stone building and consists of six stacked steps, reaching 62 meters in height.

Memphis City

As the first capital of Egypt, Memphis was strategically located between Upper and Lower Egypt. It was protected by Ptah, the god of creation and art. Finally, we will return you to your hotel for the night.

Day 3: Indulge Your Inner Explorer with Old Cairo Attractions

Breakfast in the hotel. Then, check out of your Cairo hotel. Afterward, meet your private tour guide for visits to top attractions, including:

Known as “The Alabaster Mosque,” it features walls made of pure alabaster and was built between 1830 and 1848. It is modeled after Istanbul’s Blue Mosque.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

This museum showcases Egypt’s treasures, dating back over 4,000 years, discovered in El Fustat, Egypt’s first capital during the Islamic period.

This site served as the ultimate resting place for Egypt’s kings from the 18th to the 20th dynasties. It houses the tombs of pharaohs such as Ramses II and Tutankhamun. These tombs were richly stocked with items for the afterlife, and much of the original ornamentation has survived.

Temple of Hatshepsut

One of the most stunning and well-preserved ancient Egyptian temples, it features three levels connected by two large central ramps.
