1. The Felucca or Motorboat Trip

Your adventure begins on the water. You must take a boat from the East Bank to the West Bank. We highly recommend a traditional felucca sail, letting the wind guide you across the Nile. As you approach the West Bank, you’ll see your destination: a series of dark openings in the cliff face, with a steep staircase rising from the sand.

2. The Climb

This is where you’ll earn the view. A steep, sandy staircase leads from the riverside up the cliff to the tombs. It can be challenging, especially in the heat, but it is absolutely worth it. (Your Egypt Fun Tours guide will be there to help, and you can take breaks as needed!)

3. The Reward: The Best View in Aswan

When you reach the top, you’ll be rewarded with the most spectacular panoramic view in the city. You will be high above the Nile, looking down on:

His tomb is famous for its bright, detailed paintings and a stunning, hidden chamber with a beautiful “false door” for the ka (spirit).
